It's likely to sound different, too, as nearly 40 four-legged companions will join their human friends as they take up residence at Lawrenson Hall. UNC is about to become its own rare breed with a pet friendly residence hall.

Wonderful news - it will be the most popular dorm in the place as students call round to visit their friends AND get cuddles from the animals!

As long as the animals are not neglected its fine with me.

Don't feel too fuzzy about this...i've seen what goes on in far too many dorms. I really hope these poor animals are fed-walked+just cared 4 properly--tho i remain skeptical. Thx Carrie

I think those willing to take their pets will care for them. Also since this is only one dorm I suspect it will be watched and monitored closely to see what goes on and how it works out.

Se gli animali sono tenuti bene un'ottima idea. Grazie per la condivisione

Noted. I would worry about the pets being neglected and possible harm coming to them from other students who are not pet friendly.

The pets will not be neglected or ignored, goodness knows with that many students about if anything the pets will get too much attention and love, not just from those who keep them but from other students.
