It must be a big blow, of course it must be, but Hamas had to overcome blows like this before in the past and they have. Another thing is the depletion of the rockets. Most of the tunnels have been destroyed, so new rockets will not come in soon. However, as Israel knows very well from experience, the spirit of the Gaza Palestinians has not been broken and the tunnels will be rebuilt and the stock of rockets replenished, just like it did after the 2008 war there. So what is Israel going to do to prevent this from happening again? What excuse is it going to need to try and take out the whole of Hamas, no matter how much "collateral damage" it takes?
