everything the teabags do annoys me. remember when the reps said if O got elected the 1st time if he was elected they would say no to everything he wanted to do even if it was good. they have kept that promise. i hope our next dem prez is not as patient with them as O has been

I thought this sounded a bit strange, so I looked for where this is supposedly coming from. The article mentions "TeaParty.net" but that is a personal web page for a Tom Yates who lives in the UK and has nothing to do with the USA Tea Party. They give a link to the original Washington Times article and it also mentions "TeaParty.net". Did no one check the source of this story? It's plainly bullshit.

Probably. The 1950's is way too modern for the Tea Party.

How does one treat someone one loves? One wants, and works for, what is best for the loved one, even when it is not best for oneself. One does not selfishly grab everything that belongs to the loved one. I wish the Tea Party really would take this slogan to heart - and leave.

Well Roger, shame on me. Should I be tarred and feathered, or run out of care2 on a rail?

So stupid. If they would just think about it for a minute, while there was a lot of BS in the 50s (racism, sexism etc were even worse than they are now, and they are no picnic now!) there were also aspects of the 50s that were more along the lines of what liberals are fighting for than what we have today.

Corporations weren't considered people yet. Everyone wasn't outsourcing jobs to other countries just to make a smidgen more profit while destroying the economy. There was sometimes even a living wage. In many places you could keep your doors unlocked and not worry about it overmuch. If you got an apple pie from the store, it was probably actually apple pie and not some kind of weird corn-syrup-filled yoga mat and colored dye apple-like product that gives you diabetes and ADHD so you can't remember to take your insulin. Policemen were more protect and serve, less militarization. While there is still discrimination, all races, sexes, sexual preferences can and do sometimes get to work, vote, etc. just like everyone else. Congress actually worked a day or two once in awhile. (Not saying any of this stuff was ever perfect, just saying it's gone downhill and old-timey values aren't always a bad thing)

It's not every Pious, the TeaParty.net group (and there are over 1,000 groups) is protesting news that the Obama administration may sidestep Congress to draft an international climate change agreement by urging conservatives to antagonize Prius drivers, with an Obama sticker in the back window." Anyway, I'm not certain how you can square "Legally binding treaties must be approved by a two-thirds majority in the Senate," and that they are "protesting news that the Obama administration may sidestep Congress to draft an international climate change agreement by urging conservatives (though I'm pretty certain this would or could be done through Executive Orders).

all my email comes from dems. however the other day i got one from tea party .net. i have no idea why. i did block them in my computer. i think since O has to fight them on everything he is right to sidestep. they said they would do it before he was elected the 1st time.; they said they would say no for everything he wanted to do. this was one promise they have kept.
