Celebrating ANYONE taking over any part of another's territory and lands is simply repugnant! I've never liked this holiday. It would be like having an Adolph Hitler day.

I'd rather do more than just ignore it, myself. They need to remove the holiday, or, if everyone just wants to keep the holiday 'cause people like their days off..make it Indigenous Peoples Day, or name it after one of the many explorers who actually did something worthy.
