Reeling from federal court decisions that have found approvals of several genetically engineered (GE) crops to be unlawful, a dangerous rider has been inserted into the FY 2013 Agriculture Appropriations bill (Sec. 733).

Humans have modified food for thousands of years, and some how we managed to do that without trying to prevent others from using our ideas to feed more, or using poison within the actual food. The seeds were here before we were, and yet, Monsanto Owns the rights to seeds? Outside the US, people are fighting Monsanto, not us, we can't even get food labeled.

J.L.A. has a point, if I were to knowingly cause harm to someone I would face a trail and probably a guilty verdict, so if "Corporations are people, my friends" then hang 'em high...as the ole cowboys would say of horse thieves.

Seeds should not be subject to proprietary rights. Any legal entity that asserts such rights is essentially committing a crime against humanity.
