This is a real opportunity for BofA to use its influence and environmental ambition to work with Patriot to close and clean up its MTR mines and transition the Appalachian region to produce clean, renewable energy.

Time for Bank of America to redeem itself and do the right thing. If it does, it will have taken a major step in the right direction. Choosing between the environment and the people who breathe its air and drink its water vs. their Wall Street buddies is going to be difficult --or at least I hope it will. Sometimes I think the Wall Street banks simply rubber-stamp their decisions in favor of "the other hand," because one hand truly does wash the other. I hope Bank of America does the right thing.

Gladly signed and noted!
