The demand is simple. All of us should have a right to full employment and a living wage, full participation in the electoral process, a voice at work, quality education and a secure, healthy future.

First of all, we need to stop big corporation bail-outs so that they can continue the practices that got them in trouble in the first place. Then we need to make it more difficult for people to get and stay on the gravy train. I know people who have said that they aren't going to go out and get a job because they'll lose their benefits. Rather disconcerting considering the fact that I work and pay for health insurance, yet don't have near the coverage that they have. I work and pay cash for my food, yet can't afford the 'treats' for my kids. My kids do without all the 'stuff' so that we can pay the mortgage and the electric bill. I believe we have a better quality of life, but try explaining that to a child whose friends wear designer clothes, have the cool phones/electronics, yet whose parents don't work. As a country our priorities have shifted.

What we all need are intelligent, caring politicians who love people and this planet more than money, who serve people rather than money. How much wealth they may have is of no consequence, just as long as the love they have within them is directed towards serving the people and doing good in the world.

Noted & signed. TY, Nancy! I see these objectives as nothing more than a fair shake for working class citizens and nothing less than what each individual should be entitled by law.
