The comment I placed on J.L.'s post, where I signed the petition and noted her submission:

"Gladly signed and noted! I can't think of anyone who is more qualified or more deserving of a position on that committee or who would do a better job than Elizabeth Warren! She has already proven herself in that area. The Republicans did everything they could to make sure she wasn't appointed as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau --a position she very much deserved. When you consider the fact that they protect the interests of the banking industry, their actions were proof positive that Senator-elect Warren posed an undeniable threat to the predatory practices of that industry --and that she definitely belongs on a committee that oversees the banking industry!"

Thanks for giving this important post even more exposure, Nancy!!

Just think about how much FUN it would be, Mr. Reid! Even more fun than tossing out those comments on Mitt's tax returns!

I would PAY to see the faces of the right if he did that!

Signed. Can you imagine the Repugs on the Senate Banking Committee actually having to deal in facts coming from some one who can go before a camera and talk to the American people in plain language about what is actually going on in the Banking Committee.

Put someone on the committee who is an expert on the industry from its dirty underbelly up and who isn't on the take? What a novel idea!

Signed and noted, and thanks, Nancy.
