Maisto: Withdraw Predator Drone Strike "Toy" ACTION

Tell Maisto to end production and sale of its Predator drone strike "toy." Children's toys shouldn't be glorifying a CIA assassination program that kills children.

not sure if this is relevant, there are many other things and toys that do not apply. l would think violent video games would be thousands of times more pertinent, it does not matter if men women or children are killed they all are equal and killing should stop.

I have reviewed all of Maisto's catalogs on their site and was unable to find this item. I believe that the compliant must have more to do with the marketing described rather than with a simple radio controlled hovercraft.

Machines like this can be fitted with cameras and used for activities such as wildlife viewing. I suggest that if this item is being marketed as a "Killer Drone" that you would do better to attack that marketing rather than the machine.

Okay. I found a review of the actual toy, which is NOT the one pictured in this post. It is a table top display model like most Matchbox type toys. The picture used in the post id deceptive and misleading. My original comment was based on that image.

Sure, a kid could pick this up and carry it around the room and pretend to go after people with it as they might with any of their planes or super hero toys.

With the correct image in hand I did find the drone replica on page 108 of the Maisto 2012 Catalog. It is included with Maisto's other aircraft replicas such as the stealth fighter, the SR-71, Apache copter, Boeing 777 and 787, etc. As much bigger deal is being made out of this than it warrants.

So stupid! Did you see the video of the moose? We will take away fun. These are not very large and are fun to fly. These is always some short sighted people who are so rabid that they miss the party.

Maisto should be ashamed to sell such products. We have enough violence and don't need to send out the wrong message to our kids.

To me this is just the product of a sick mind ! The subject matter of this game is just HORRIBLE! It seems that so many toy manufacturers seem to have lost the plot when it comes to being respomsible about what messages they are teaching our children. Singed and TRIED to note, but for some reason my computer wouldn't allow me to do so. I will try again now.
