Leading scientists around the world agree that man-made greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels are causing global warming .
Effects are already being seen worldwide .
Long-term consequences are devastating , and solutions are harder to attain each day we fail to act .
Noted , thanks .

Richard you hit the nail squarely on the head. Oil and Natural Gas are addictions. Sadly this addiction must be fed and in spite of our best efforts the Keystone will go through. When the courts and politicians side with the Big Energy firms over the environmental health of the planet it is a sure bet that it will happen. We keep fighting; we don't stop until it's over and then we fight some more.

Noted with thanks Nancy. We have to keep trying to stop this pipeline. The environment could face a huge disaster. There would be jobs in the beginning, but if it gets done, jobs would dwindle to inspectors - it is not worth it. I also agree with Richard that oil and gas have been an addiction for a long time. We have to be ready to make changes.
