Tell President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria to Veto the "Jail The Gays" Bill ACTION

Nigeria's LGBT community already endures widespread discrimination. If the bill passes, Nigeria would have one of the harshest anti-gay laws in the world.

"If you pass this law, Nigeria will become the first country in modern history to criminalize gay people in its constitution. By violating human freedoms, this bill could be detrimental to your citizens, as well as to your international relationships. The U.S. and the U.K. have already threatened to halt all aid to Nigeria if this bill is approved."

This is MORE OF THE WORK OF THE AMERICAN RELIGIOUS RIGHT, taking its HOMOPHOBIA ABROAD, and influencing Legislation in other countries thru "Christian" missionary contacts in those countries. Kenya, Uganda with the notorious "kill the gays" bill, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia...
[Source: Seattle Gay News.]
The American Religious Right, unable to roll back LGBT people's advances in the U.S., has taken its campaign abroad - and flush with successes there, will try AGAIN - and again! - in the U.S. That is THEIR agenda.
