We need to keep this in the public eye. This is being swept under the rug and under no scrutiny by government agencies anymore. I live in Kauai and I won't eat fresh fish or swim in the ocean anymore. The radiation levels are not being scrutinized at all because we are a vacation destination. This should be public information. Floats from Japan are collected here often. The debris did not impact our beaches like the Mainland was, but there is a current directly from it. I worry about the whales calving and breeding on their annual visit. : (

Why are we wasting time with a useless organization that for the most part is only good for one thing: lip service?
Much like the EU government they're good for nothing except creating more paper; passing useless laws that don't affect their status or well being; taking more sick days and holidays than any other entity and generally giving: lip service while bending over backwards to service their clients just a little bit better. Berlusconi is just the most recognizable face of what's wrong with Europe and the world for that matter. He was the sacrificial lamb who overstepped his bounds just like a few others in the news over the last couple of years and has paid for it. Bad boys and girls; you broke protocol. You must pay lest the public become aware just how perverted and corrupt the 5% actually is.
If the corporations actually took 10% of their gross annual profit; donated it tax free and it was put into programs on the ground that actually helped indigenous and local peoples it would make quite a difference. Of course the local warlords, pundits and oligarchs would have to be removed in order for this to work too. Those parasites always have their hands out and do nothing for anyone but themselves.
BTW, any bullets in those UN rifles?

Signed. I'm not so sure we can actually do anything at this point! It's so wide-spread by now! The entire Northern hemisphere is really going to get it, not only the Pacific Ocean!

You would think the Entire World would be offering help & Possible solutions for this slow-motion Massacre of life! I'm afraid NOBODY knows how to stop it & certainly not how to "fix" what it's already killed & maimed ..:(
