The police targeting of black teens is rampant in this country - it must be stopped - fortunately NYC has a new mayor who's sympathetic to the plight of the atrocity perpetrated by our cops - and "stop and frisk".
Thanks for the post Nancy!

This is an awful situation. This young man needs to be shown that the law believes that he counts, he is important and that he is protected, just like every other citizen. And the police and everyone else need to be shown the same thing.

Signed and noted Thanks Nancy. I find it very distressing that the police in America are still targetting young black males. How DARE they do something like that to what sounds like a wonderful student and really worth while teenager. I DO so hope and pray that that operation has not rendered him sterile. That would be the final insult. I cannot see how such thugs are even allowed into the police force. in the first place. I suppose it is one of those jobs that would be very attractive to psychopathic people and so far they seem to have had free reign to inflict their disgusting abuse on people and get away with it. Let's hope that we will see an end to this intolerable situation soon.

This wasn't a 'stop and frisk search' this was a 'stop and mutilate assault' - how on EARTH could such a thing have happened? The police officers need investigating by Internal Affairs - and if possible from another police authority - this is beyond awful - words fail me!

This is out and out MOLESTATION! Anyone else that did this would be arrested for child molestation! This is also assault with maiming. They should not be allowed to be back on the streets again. They are the "Bad Cops" that are written about in the front pages!
Do not carry the "Stop and Frisk" law forward!! It is a very discriminating law! Why give them the chance to take their frustrations out on an innocent citizen??
Just unmitigated gall by the cities that pass these kind of laws is terrifying!!
Change the laws to stop this from happening! Make better laws to protect the innocent!!
