May has the power - and the responsibility - to stop the Home Office from deporting Aderonke until they can be sure everyone's being treated fairly and humanely.

If her life is in danger because she will be executed, then surely she can't be sent back? She certainly shouldn't be!

I certainly signed. Woman should not be sent back to a Country that will surely kill her. Has she not suffered in her life enough with the murder of her family.

David I hope that is a cruel joke you have stated. You are one who normally stands up for human rights. I'm not sure why you stated what you did. Having an off day? Or trying to flare up the conversation?

"Aderonke, like dozens of other LGBT asylum-seekers, is stuck in a process that the UK government has already admitted humiliates and abuses them. It doesn't work or protect anyone."

Yet on the march goes. It is simply wrong in this day and time that government, or its agencies, cannot be held accountable for the harm they do through action or inaction as any private citizen would be. Bureaucracies have many faults, this is but one, no single person anywhere can be said to hold this woman's fate in his/her hands. And each can point to their "rules" in defense. That is amoral and immoral. This is not how government should work, nor giant corporations for that matter, but here we are talking about government. This is just wrong on every level. Someone in that giant morass has to step up and say so. Then set about fixing this obviously broken system. How is anything less humanly acceptable?

Signed, noted and distributed. What's wrong with the UK government lately - or has it always been that way?

They want to deport people like Aderonke to sure death ... yet they have no problem of giving refuge to the known terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood!! Incl. all the other criminals who flee there.

Shame on you - United Kingdom Government
!

Where is David's comment that Dandelion mention?
Where is freedom of speech? Or this freedom applies only to what we like to hear?

The UK should get with it. Sending some back to their homeland when they will face certain death just because they are lesbian is definitely not right, it is immoral.
