Most men know by now that good lifestyle choices - such as exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, not smoking and drinking in moderation - make a big difference in staying healthy. Men may too often ignore these sensible recommendations, but it's-

I've always thought the proverb "What you don't know won't hurt you" has to be the stupidest proverb in ANY language. It could have been the motto of the Borgia family, couldn't it?

Even on the "Information Superhighway" it's often difficult to find clear answers and recommendations to simple questions and inquiries. So much info online, much of it conflicting, is confusing at the least. Finding the truth can be an exercise in masochism...painful and frustrating. Too much info can also hurt you.

Noted with thanks Nancy. I feel most men do not like going to the Doctors for examinations. But I have notice of late with all the advertising of prostrate cancer, a lot of friends older sons have made the move to be checked, which is great.

Joanne what you said about the stupidity of "What you don't know won't hurt you"....Yeah, it will ... DOWN RIGHT DANGEROUS!!!

I remember I was about 15 when my aunt and her husband offered to get me out of the hell called home.

Then I found out what the price tag was. Uncle Bill told me not to tell my mother.

I said, "What she doesn't know won't hurt me."

It finished ruining my life. I sure paid a lot of KARMA!!!

What my Mom didn't know did hurt me...BAD.

But what I didn't know opened the door for the nightmare karma to come roaring at me like a freight train.

Yet I did learn a valuable lesson..........What I don't know and what those who care about me don't know
