What I do not understand is why they are still using animals for testing when nearly 30yrs ago I was a volunteer worker for SAFE in NZ and some scientists were using a more accurate system without using animals as they do not have the same genetic make up as humans - it doesn't matter how close it is it still isn't the same - we fought some of the big make up companies and they managed to change their practices. It's about time they woke up - testing on animals is not thorough and it wouldn't surprise me if that is part of the reason some medications etc the scientists come out with have extreme detremental affects on humans
