Senior citizens would love to participate on American Idol. In the past 7 seasons, American Idol has been only open to the youth for auditons and performance. And peop0le over the age of 50 wants a change. So lets sign the petition and help the seniors.

I am glad that we are seeing some that are interested in seeing a Senior American Idol show. This can also teach some history to the younger crowd on what music was like when today's seniors were young.

On the season 6 auditions Sherman Pore sang "You Belong to Me". That song was written in 1952 and it's in the key of Eb Major. During Idol gives back in that same season, Jordan Sparks sang "You Will Never Walk Alone". That song was written in 1945. I forget what key it's in, but it is at least in a major key.
