Noted and signed. In my lifetime I do not recall when child support payment orders were thoroughly enforced. My father walked away when I was five and my mother never had one penny of financial help from him. He simply could not be found, and never paid into his social security under the number we had in any state. So, I hope for a better outcome here, and I am so sorry this struggling single parent cannot get the father to care one iota about the wellbeing of the children he helped to create.

Noted - good luck - my mother never got any child support for me - my father left just before I was born - when I was thirteen and at Boarding School I was told by a Nun [his sister - whom I did not know]that he had been living in New Guinea and had was dead. My mother worked very hard and paid someone to watch over me whilst she was at work - I never bothered to go for child support when my marraige ended - we both went our ways - I bought my 4 children up on my own and worked when I could - it was very hard and we went without many things - but we got there and it gave them a good sense of responsibity - two of them had after college jobs and went to University paying for themselves - I helped where I could. I am not a person who adheres to conforming to what people think should happen - I feel that if a relationship is ended then that is it - time to move on and it is so much healthier for the children - not to have bad negativity in the home. I feel if you have to go through these situations it makes you a much stronger person. But everyone has different opinions and ways of doing things - I respect that and understand - but it is just not my way - I live in NZ - and that is just me. LOL. No offence meant - just a different way of looking at things - that is all - does not work for everyone. PEACE

You know, this woman may not have an alternate agenda, but I really want to get more information on that child abuse charge against her.
I am skeptical.
She sounds sincere, but you never know. She does not say anything further about that case and how innocent she is of the charges. Maybe there is a reason for that.
I do think someone should gang up on the deadbeats, though.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving did such great work on changing our perspective of drinking and driving. If such a group for children took off it would be a great thing.

I have signed your petition because it is near to my heart. I know what you're going through and the truth will come through in the end. God will prevail on your side and you will have your children back. May God bless you. s-j

Bring Her Son Back Home!!! If anyone is out there? Please listen to this story also! These cases are very common:( I wish they were more in the media light so people would know the truth! We need to help these women when we can....

Bring Her Son Back Home

When Lilian G. a single mom, requested an increase in child support and back owed child support, from her son's father, a pilot with a commercial airline, he conveniently responded with a request of a custody change of the son. Their then 14 year old son, so he could be the residential parent and get child support from the mother.

I agree with you, Patricia. I was thinking the same thing while reading the petition. Something not quite right.

While there are innocent families who are lied about and are often wrongfully accused, however 9 times out of 10, the people who are investigated by DCF (Department of Children and Families) here in Florida really are abusing or neglecting their kids. I work very closely with the state agencies, and my wife is a Guardian ad Litem. I've never seen DCF go after a family without a fairly good reason... especially taking the kids away for 95+ days. I think there is a lot more to this story than what is being told.

However, I am all for enforcing the "dead-beat" parents, but let's not just pick on the dads here. There are "dead-beat" moms out there, too.
