Intersting that a very fuel efficient BMW 135 with 220 g CO2 is called dirty by Greenpeace and i do not hear a word about the Green car of the year presented by GM The Chevrolet Tahoe hybride...i cannot find any information on the CO2 of this green car but since the Machine is also used in the Hummer i asume that it will also be 383 g/km in Europe we have an average per Brand of
150 G CO2 the worst cars in Europe are 220 240 G now how dirty are these deals? Mercedes BMW Audi Citroen Peugeot all will try to reach 120 G until 2012 most of the US Brands will not even reach 200 G in the next ten years!
Every SUV will have to come with a free SMART for two with only 90 G to reduce the average...Oil Price is high enough now to make people think and the best is you aint seen nothing yet! Since you all pay these prices they know that you will pay more! Highest prices in history but no immediate reaction of the market..Lets see next year oil prices? Maybe even higher than this year and killing the economy all around the world!

Take a look at the Greenpeace site and see how they rate the Car Companies!
Fiat, Volkswagen but also BMW and Mercedes are doing a great JOB!

I dont think that GM and Ford USA would reach a rate lower than 300 G KM!

The customers want faster cars! BMW makes them faster but more fuel efficient just like Mercedes does!

2012 is very close imagine that in the USA they must come down to 120 G like in Europe! This would realy mean that the smart with only 90 G CO2 should be sold a few million times!
Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria both Drive a Mercedes G 55 AMG and the HUMMERS are still there what use is it to buy a Prius but drive a Car that needs three to four times more energy for the same purpose!

Leonardo the Caprio is the only one i know that realy only drives its Prius!

Porsche would be out of business with this new rules! They would never be able to get cars to an average of 120 G per KM! BMW only because of the MINI and Mercedes because of the SMART!

Where are the minicars in the USA?

Its good to hear that the Smart is a bestseller in the USA but in stead of
40.000 it should be 400.000!!!!
