Hi Lyn, That's great news. I have looked into soaps and shampoos that are palm oil free in Australia. www.crueltyfreeshop.com.au. There's lots of other good things to buy for presents.
Thanks for the story.

An excellent start!!! Thank you for bringing it to our attention

TY Lyn. A great start. And keep the pressure up for sure. Nestle is a big destroyer of tiger and elephant habitat with their coffee grown in the sun. Now this. We must keep on these companies that think nothing of destroying both animals and their habitats.

Thank you for the update it's good news. Each one of us can make a difference; especially when these selfish, profit at any cost individuals/corporations start to see that public awareness is effecting their sales and come to realize we just will not give up on protecting the animals and the environment, no matter where we live in this world.

Noted. It is with great joy that we have made a difference for the remaining Orangutans and their habitat. Thanks Jocelyn for the post and for sending me the link to sign awhile back. You are the best! Yes I believe we need to keep up the pressure on Nestle and Proctor and Gamble who use Palm oil as well. These big corporations should not have the right to destroy the forests and the Orangutan’s habitat because they wish to make a profit when in fact there are solutions for places like Borneo and Sumatra. The farmers can cultivate Hemp and use the oil that is extracted just like Palm oil. The difference is that Hemp does not require to be grown like Palm trees. In some places it grows wild like a weed and does not require much fertilizer if at all. Hemp was grown in Asia before so why isn’t it being cultivated anymore? Hemp is by far the best plant and commercial crop that the people can use for its many purposes. Solutions are out there with the consideration of the environment first so that wildlife and the forests of the world are protected now and for the future.
