I have waited for this for so long, Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.” So said Galadriel to Frodo in the film adaptation of Lord of the Rings. The fans have spoken.

If Jackson's production of "The Hobbit" is any thing like his Ring trilogy it should be an awesome film.

I don't know if any of you knew, but Peter Jackson had always planed to direct The Hobbit, but after the Return of the King was released, Newline & Jackson had a falling out. Newline was going ahead without Peter Jackson as director. That's why this news is so great, Nobody else could do what he does. So many fans wrote letters, & signed petitions, & they flooded Newline with them. .There is a petition on care2 to get Bill Bailey to play in the Hobbit under media/entertainment Here's the link, copy & paste http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/244583166

The Hobbit, was done in cartoon style a few years ago and for that application, was well done. I certainly think a live actor presentation would be also good as long as the story line is not butchered.
