Great idea and for all of you who dont know what to eat:

Try panzanella, great italian food if you choose the right ingredients!

(Bread and Tomato Salad)

Can be prepared in 45 minutes or less.

Servings: Serves 4 to 6.
subscribe to Gourmet
Ingredients
3/4 pound day-old crusty peasant-style whole-grain bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (about 6 cups)
4 large tomatoes (about 1 pound), trimmed and each cut into 8 wedges
3/4 cup sliced unwaxed cucumbe
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons red-wine vinegar
20 fresh basil leaves, shredded
Preparation
In a serving bowl stir together the bread, the tomatoes, the cucumber, the onion, the oil, the vinegar, the basil, and salt and pepper to taste until the salad is combined well.

I promise you that its the best salad you have ever had! First time i ate it was in Volterra in Tuscany! Dont eat it fresh put it in the refrigerator for at least 3-5 hours and it will taste even better! In Italy they make it with Balsamico i allways use three different kind of vinegar never forget apple vinegar!

Great Contribution after the Beetles Music that vibrated the entire world in the 1960s and 1970s. Still that vibration can be felt in many of us.
Let the youth take on to the new Tune, new vibration of Paul
this a pleasnat music of vegetarinaism all over the world.
I salute Paul for this yeomen service to the world - to the animal kingdom to envoronment and for peace and happiness for all

Well make sure that you use the right ingredients and you will find yourself a new favorite summerdish! And its so easy and fast you can prepare it for large groups and allmost everybody loves it! You can also use the same amounts of bread, tomatoes and cucumbe and make it a real nice tricolore! Use old bread and no fresh bread!

That's great, Paul! A very good idea. And the health benefits would be good, too.

It's a simple idea that can get people used to the idea of a meat free diet and also bring home where the meat is coming from, as well as its impact--instead of just blindly accepting meat being there in the market.

Great idea Paul, gradually encouraging people to go veggie one day at a time is a start.
Sounds like a tasty recipe Hans, will try it sometime, thanks!

Hay Thats so cool the less meat everyone eats the better, less cows getting slaughtered and less cows producing green house gases, also less trees will have to be cut down in the rain forests for grass for the cows to eat thats always a great thing!

I love it! Some may not want to go completely vegi but everyone can help by cutting back. This reminds me of the "peanut butter and jelly site" - encouraging people to make a change one meal at a time :)

My husband is a Hindu and for most Hindus, Monday is Shiv's day. He is a very powerful diety in the Hindu pantheon. On a Monday, many Hindus, especially women, restrict their diet to pure vegetables. I feel that this also purges the system for a whole day and rejuvinates the free flowing of the body juices!! We still do this in our family every Monday. Hi to all!

Its morally right, for animals and the environment..plus there are health benefits .As a nurse who smokes though,im probably not a great advert for health.
Good on you Macca. You are forgiven for writing The Frog Chorus.

Paul's singing with either the Beatles or Wings help bring memories of my youth rushing back whenever I hear them today. So, I've been loving him long before this other reason to love him.

Ah Hans one of those pictures has strawberries too! ♥ The possibilities with that recipe are endless and I think I might be 'cooking' me up some real SOON!

Going meatless on Mondays is one of the easiest and most practical ways to make a difference in the health of the environment. I work for a national non-profit public health campaign called Meatless Monday, in association with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Our campaign supports this idea of helping yourself and the environment by choosing healthier food options. If you are interested in finding great meatless recipes or learning more about the campaign, we urge you to check out and . Also, feel free to email info@meatlessmonday.com with any questions. Small changes on an individual scale can make big changes globally.
