About 2 million Americans get a raise Thursday as the federal minimum wage rises 70 cents. The bad news: Higher gas and food prices are swallowing it up, and some small businesses will pass the cost of the wage hike to consumers.

Bring jobs back to the U.S. Outsourcing isn't good for our economy. There are an awful lot of foreclosures that shouldn't be happening. Before long, it isn't going to be cost efficent for me to drive to work, I'll be paying my job to allow me to work for them! Big Oil and Power Co seem to go hand in hand, with Big Oil having record sales on a constant basis. So why do we suffer and they get filet mignon and lobster? Seek alternative renewable energies, demand it now. Enough is enough.
