I don't eat meat at all much less a baby calf!!! breaks my heart to even have seen that darn that crap I know people eat meat and I can't judge them for it, but when I see a animal I see life, thats just like it won't be long and deer season will be in here 3 more months biggest red necks ever seen here for it, dogs, cb, 4 wheelers, spotlighting, and this goes on until January, I can barely stand it. Believe me when I see a truck sitting long side the road and a dog box in in the back I pull my gun out and rack it off for the dogs will stop for they think the people got one and stop. I will never forget this one time that I was out to dinner with friends and i ordered veal picatta...and my girlfriend's husband looked at me like I was crazy ..this was probably 15 years ago ..and he told me about how cruel the calves were treated..i have never eaten it since ..it is attrocious to think that humans would do this to an animal. It makes me sick ....to my stomach...thank you for posting...

Our treatment of Animals ultimately affects our treatment of each other and our world. It's time we started treating animals much, much better.

It is true also that dairy calves are taken away from their mothers moments after birth , so the mothers don't feed them milk, this happens at all levels of farming large and small farms...

#330...I haven't eaten veal since I learned about how they are treated over 25 years ago...Recently drove some country roads in Washington state and saw many calf holding pens next to the feed lots...So sad. I sent them silent apologies.

With healthy and nutritious vegan food to eat I don't understand why animals have to be tortured for the plate. I can't even stand the smell of meat for I associate the smell with what these animals go through in their short and miserable lives, if you don't cry over something like this I guess you never will.
