A restaurant famous for its exotic meats got a lot of grief for offering farm-raised lion meat to its paying free-willed customers. The handful of people who arbitrarily decided that lion meat = evil but chicken/cow = manna

Good,....we need to stop these restaurants from serving lion meat, as lions as just as scarce as any other wild animal. Plus lion meat supports canned hunting, which in itself is a cruel "sport".

Why don't those free-willed epicurians try a bite of each other?

Yes, stop it before the lion also becomes extinct.

The chef is a VEGETARIAN.
This didn't make you wonder?

How in the world legally, environmentally, health dept. killing facilities, etc is he going to get a lion in down-town Philadelphia?

I think the chef is just getting some free publicity He is a BS artist

“I’m taking it off the menu,” says Zulli, but not because he feels he’s in the ethical wrong. “When my food stops becoming about the flavor, it’s just not worth it. It’s become a circus."

Wow, this is wild! (No pun intended!) I used to live 2 blocks from this place, and I ate and drank there often. There wasn't anything very exotic on the menu 2 years ago when I was a regular; I'm actually pretty surprised that they did this. I know the smoking ban effected many of the bars and restaurants, so perhaps this was their way of trying to get more business. Doesn't make it right, of course.
