A peaceful protest by the Indigenous Mapuche people met a bloody end on 3rd January when police opened fire into the crowd, killing 22-year-old university student Matias Catrileo Quezada. Mapuche Patricia Troncoso has been on hunger strike for 93 days.

This is an outrage as it is all over the world where the indingenous people have been sqweezed out of their lands for government use etc.
