Maybe it's time to take out a few CEO's and blow up a few dams and pipelines ?

We are idiots if we let them do this. We would be taking about all the risk, and none of the benefit, except for maybe a few temporary jobs.

No matter where they plan this pipeline, no matter where it passes, it will still be a dirty and highly polluting project: exploiting the tar sands is a polluting activity, the pipeline will have leaks and thus pollute here and there and still in more places, and finally, burning (and using otherwise) the petrol extracted down south pollutes even more than the crude oil we use right now.

It would be better and wiser to use the money involved in this project in research on other, cleaner, energy.

But then again, this research will not generate the same profit for the same Big Fortunes.....
