George Bush gave the keynote address at an "investment conference" in the Cayman Islands on Thursday night. But we don't know what he said, because Bush's own team required a complete "blackout" on any details about the speech.

Yes, it certainly does, Becky. The "complete blackout" says it all.

Missing a speech by GW BUSH -- gosh I can't think of anything I would like better. Corporate America and its wealthy executive class has had it good under the Bush administration. Not only has it benefited from massive tax cuts, but the Bush administration has stood idle as huge numbers of American companies have set up phony headquarters in the Cayman Islands so better to avoid what little taxes they might have to pay in the U.S. According to a GAO report scheduled for release today, since 2002, the number of American entities reporting a Cayman Island bank account has jumped from 2,677 to nearly 8,000. Suspiciously, investigators traced more than 9,000 American entities that had registered in the Caymans to a single office building. Past estimates have put the loss of revenue from such schemes at $100 billion. The move to off-shore accounts hasn't exactly been a secret. The IRS has struggled to enforce the law with limited resources. A job for the Senate Finance Committee but they'll have to battle the republicans who will object.

Please, you think these people that represesnts all the money of the 1% sitting down to listen to "how to never have to pay taxes again" don't have the moxie to silence anyone they want to, and to make sure no one else hears about it.

The agenda is set and all they need is to win the election and the take over will proceed and the people of America will be belittled a little more

Who cares where #43 goes? He has done about as much damage as he can do. His reign of terror is over.

The way he's been so conspicuous by his absence during the election tells you everything you need to know about his time as president.

Even Republicans don't want him around.

I'm not surprised at this. The 1% er's need to hide their cash and figure how much $$ to give to have Romney as president to keep their monies "safe". Please vote Obama.

If Obama wins, there should be a thorough housecleaning of $ going to Cayman Islands and other places where the rich are stashing their cash. Imagine what will happen if Rmoney wins or STEALS the election.

If WE ONLY KNEW what these slimy bastards did behind closed doors, we would all be appalled. We simply must all make sure to vote against Mitt RobMe and his kind.
I have already voted early and am volunteering for Obama.

I read that he was telling investors how to funnel money to the cayman islands as not to pay US Taxes. Don't know if it's true but I wouldn't doubt it.

Noted w/my thanks for posting as well, Judy. The GOP is sticking together to protect their wealth; with a desire to "stick it" to those of us 99%'ers. Karl Rove, the infamous Bush so-called "mastermind" will insinuate himself into a Romney White House induding much of the same terror we were subject to during the 8 yr. reign of the Bush Regime. Many, many more of those neo-cons will be back to further destroy America, while profiting immensely. We can't let them win.

Isn't Cayman the place where the rich hides their money so they don't have to pay taxes?
