Disney's Animal Programs team hasn't determined the source of her underdevelopment. There's no sign of another case like hers, so team members are giving Lilly the kind of occupational therapy typically reserved for human children

This is an interesting case. I wonder if the baby was a little anoxic, It is good to hear she is coming along. Taught early, they can learn to use other areas of the brain. Thanks for the post.

Maybe it is because gorillas do not belong in captivity and just are not getting what they truly need that we humans have absolutely no idea about
