Okay, he didn't have a permit and the animal was not marked as a dangerous snake nor was it adequately caged, I read about all that, but what the heck was he doing with this snake, anyhow? Good grief... these animals don't belong in a cage on somebody's back porch!

Permits for poisonous snakes seem like a good idea. Laws regulating whether people should even be allowed to have exotic animals are important as well.

Why would someone want to keep them in the first place.

Okay, if he wants a pet, there are thousands and millions of cats and dogs in shelters dying to be adopted. Wildlife belong to the wild. Even if permits are approved so that humans can keep wild animals at home, never will my perspective about how wild animals have their homes in the wild and how they truly belong there, ever change.

Thanks for the news.
