No question about that in Connecticut, although here farmers grown only wrapping tobacco for cigars. Connecticut wrapping leaf is highly desirable, and our decline is more due to the lure of huge $$$ that developers paid for the cropland over the last 20 years. There are still farms of it, though, a bit northeast of where I live.

There are about 7 farms within 25 miles from where I live still growing tobacco.
