If this advances it is just an open invitation for those who bully to keep doing so because it would be a no no to discuss bullying without including those being bullied due to their being Gay/Lesbian. Sounds like a scape goat to keep bullying alive or at least not something for staff to be concerned with or deal with in elementry schools and middle schools where/when the roots of such are being formed...in my opinion.

Signed and noted thank you. This bill is basically saying that "gay" is somehow a bad word to say. How ridiculous. Children need to be taught that being gay is OK and to respect each others differences. This is doing the exact oppossite! THIS is why we have so much bulying in our schools!!!

this annoys me so much because so many kids know they are gay or just suspect they are somehow different and could use that education. also, what about kids like my son, who has 2 mommies? how is he supposed to handle messages like this? he's growing up in a loving home and then he'll go out into the world where the message is that being gay is bad, the amount of confusion could be over-whelming
