I would fully support a cut-and-replant lumber farm project in previously denuded land adjacent to the Sequoya Monument, as this would allow tapping the monument's ecology to sustainably provide a harvest of redwood lumber without harming old growth as harvests of old growth are avoided. We already know the components of a redwood forest are there and they can support both the rotating lumber farm and the unharvested protected monument.

This should be designated as a World Heritage Site & given lasting protection against any logging or attempts to offer open access to this land. It should not be disturbed in any fashion, by anyone. It is there for its beauty.

this exquisite monument is home to hundreds of animals. it is not only beautiful, but destroying it means the habitat of these creatures will perish. it must be preserved, both for its beauty and for the animals.
