Yeah, and very likely this is the aftermath of the 'site maintenance' -- it's a lot easier to mess things up than to make changes smoothly, without any side-effects (my word as SW-developer on that)

and 10, 15 years ago SW-developing was kind of a "blessed island", with mostly people of above-average intelligence and competence; but now this field has also been [SIGHHHH!!] subdued by the general stupidification & (acceptance of) in-competence, a prime motor of which is Mega$hit, er pardon me, micro$oft ...

Nothing in care2 would work for me either. I tried to send stars, check my messages, send messages and sign petitions I got only blank pages. I thought it was my system, since I had just deep cleaned it. I downloaded Firefox and now my system is really a mess!!! I am not a computer wiz, so now I'm really in trouble.

This petition is based on so many flawed premises, with the salient consequence having gone unrecognized or ignored, as to be unworthy of consideration.

The fact is that man is overfishing the oceans at an alarming rate, one that is driving whole species to the brink of extinction, which will result in a cascade throughout the entire oceanic food pyramid, causing wholesale collapse of the ecosystem.

If man wants to continue to consume fish at such a prodigious rate, he must grow them himself. Barring that, he must drastically reduce his consumption.
