I have really been concerned why it is taking so long to get Tony in a reputable sanctuary. We heard he was being released from his horrible cage at the truck stop in December of last year. This article describes in detail what the procedures are, and why it is taking so long. We are all with you Tony sweet tiger.

Come on already! Who is Tony's owner s*cking off to keep him in that cage? Free Tony and put his stupid owner in the cage instead. Anyone else who had a captive tiger like that and he would have already been removed.

Thank you for posting ! Bingo ! - I get it now. ADLF cannot petition the dept. to enforce the law. And Sandlin is now bringing suit to invalidate the state ban on private possession of big cats. The ray of hope here is ADLF can petition to intervene on Sandlin's suit and ADLF is on the side of the dept. - this is good ! Sandlin is petitioning the very dept. who can enforce the law against him.! Pheew ! Thank you for the clarity here. I am still hoping for success !

Thanks for the clarification. It's pathetic that the court can't order the department to enforce the law because it's "discretionary." I hope Tony and the ADLF win, and soon!
