I agree with the author. This is a good / quick way to shove the entire financial debacle under the rug. Pay off the victims, no one is prosecuted for their miss-deeds, and it's business as usual. The payout will be paltry due to the amount of victims and attorney fees. Again no one wins except the perpetrators.

Corporate greed at its worse.
