Among other promises, candidate Obama promised to end the Iraq war as soon as he was elected. Yet, President Obama may extend the Iraq war past this year and the Afghanistan war beyond 2014.

There is a Protest March in Washington D.C. on October 6, 2011 to End the Wars In Iraq and Afghanistan in combination with the Workers Protest of Stop the Machine. Please try to be there and let others know.
MARCH FORWARD
We have a very high rate of suicide within the ranks of our army. Please do something. Speak out! Don't let any more families have to suffer like the video shows with the link below. Facing his 9th deployment! Horrific.

Signed. The final end of US presence in Vietnam dragged on and on, too, and ended badly, worse than was necessary, precisely for that reason. Out now!

RE: "Facing 9th deployment" IS AN INSANITY I CANNOT COMPREHEND. Bless him for having such courage to make the choice he did. THINK OF THE TENS OF THOUSANDS WHO SPEND THEIR LIFETIME SLOWLY "TRYING" TO KILL THEMSELVES~ TO NO AVAIL. I still have friends dealing with multiple horrors from Viet Nam.
You are a WARRIOR my DearHEART!

Glady signed and shared widely. This administration is a total failure on all fronts but the continuation of war after promissing to end it, is criminal. We have lost too many lives and of vourse entirely too much treasure. I held a little hope for Obama until I read of his wife's gross excesses and spending followed by the stupid bus purchase. I am against the man now after he started weedling on Iraq and started pushing the Iraqis to ask us to stay another year!
Let's bring every man and womand, dog and piece of gear home as quickly as we possibly can -from all three wars!
