John Trudell: Let The Spirit Live

Society & Culture  (tags: John Trudell, Let the Spirit Live, exploitation, consumerism, destruction of Earth Mother, walking dead, pollution, mining )

"I felt as though someone knocked me unconcious as I entered this world. I spent a lifetime trying to come to" John Trudell or as Walter Littlemoon calls it a Thick Dark Fog. Indian circle thinking had to go; wasn't good for ladder thinking exploitation.

Really give this video some thought. John Trudell has always been to me a great thinker, a true Human Being, a brother in the struggle, and one who was made to suffer greatly for his speaking out. I put on two stories today, the other I leave here with a hotlink, to me, they both speak a similar story.

The ole' "Kill the Indian Save the Man" was only to save the man to be exploited the way the Dominent Society wanted things done. People who protected the Earth, as the Indians did, didn't hoard, lived simply so others could simply live, did not try to climb on the backs of others to get to some lofty perch, were not suited to make the few rich at the expense of others. Sharing, caring, each person on a level and even playing field.....wow, that would not work in a system that was brought over from Europe.

So you get rid of any way you can, kill, move, destroy, starvation, re-indoctrinate like the Boarding Schools were all about, keep their population low via sterilization, assimulation, relocation, in essence wipe of the whole "Indian thinking".......each generation had it's own portion of the story played out upon them.....

And it doesn't stop with the Indians.......this exploitation moves and continues to move.....because it has too under a system of exploitation. Are you feeling it? Can you see it? What is happening to a Finite Planet?

Many of us are talking about "Waking up....Come out of the Fog....Look behind the curtain"....various expressions

Hello......anyone out there?
THE THICK DARK FOG

So totally agree with all this. I try to live as simply as I am able to. Necessity not luxury is what is important. I have had people ask me "Why do you live like that?" My response-Because I want to - it does not bother me so don't let it bother you. I will go without before I waste money on something that is not actually needed-like food or a blanket for warmth.
Hello out there-anyone there? is also one of my favorite sayings. I also buy local and can, freeze, and dry my own foods locally whenever I can. I want to know what I am eating. The earth is our Mother, care for her.

I, like John Trudell, remember coming to this lower of lowest but one world, sentenced to hell!

This Native American man of wisdom is right on. What he says is what I have learned through 69 years of seeking truth and the way out to return to the sanity from which I came before the astral, before my fall. He speaks forth the truths that I have learned and the tears gather in my eyes.

This is a planet of rebellion against the great and gentle ruler of worlds. This is a planet ruled by the ego of all egos, the ego cast out of heaven who once owned this planet with his hordes of one percenters. The world was destroyed in their wrath.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth AND the Earth was without form. and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. It had been destroyed.

And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light and there was light".

The world was created yet again and given to man.

The ego of all egos and his one percenters were exceedingly angry. This dark predatory force seeks to destroy the Earth yet again as he clouds and destroys, or attempts to destroy, the minds of man and woman and child.

This is the lowest of lower worlds but for one.

We have already been judged and sentenced to hell. This is it. This world fits every description of hell. The worm dieth not. Every single one of us is in pain because we yielded to the dark, jealous one percent
powers that would destroy us all.

The only way out is by helping each other and thus returning and being returned to higher worlds where we are the sons and daughters of life.

He says "I think I was born 100 years too late" but I think he was born before his time; but his time is now. Thank you Dandelion, this is great.

When will we come to our senses?
It mimics cancerous growth....

I watched this one and another with John Trudell and Red Crow. I believe it was in the second that demonstrates just how different the European thought is from the First Nations thought.
"Treat the earth well: It was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

The European would say "I, your parent, give you this land. It is yours to pass to your children."

The First Nations saying makes so much more sense because everything we do, or don't do as the case may be, affects the future. The past has passed away but the future is ahead.

Thanks Dandelion.

the best philosophers can reduce a tangle of confusion and mixed messages
to pure thought and reason.
John is doing a good job at this. He targets the enemy..not people but the disease they carry. we carry.
its up to us to awaken and become aware of it. The disease can only die when exposed to light, and starved
by a simple refusal to feed it.
It can't be fought with violence, guns, bombs, or fury, but only a relentless tireless pursuit of the greater good.

Sheryl, you always find the GREAT vids ... "Predator energy" ... those two words sum up all that I find so ugly about this world we now live in. I had never been able to express my feeling ... he did it. Thank you for posting this and thanks to Michael for sharing, as well. We need people like this to be our leaders in this country.

Dandelion G. (381)
Sunday February 12, 2012, 1:16 pm
Is true Deb, this is the type of individual we need for our leaders but with the money in the elections the big oil and the rest of the organizations that keep this "predator energy" going, people like him will not get elected. So we really need to start supporting the people who are trying to keep the money out of the elections and that we will have a shot at getting better quality of people into Government.

Buddy Rohmer on the Republican ticket tried, Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party is trying, but we as the masses need to begin to learn who they are and help them along, because Corporate media won't. If we don't then I'm afraid it will be total collaspe of our earthly environment before the masses will then HAVE to make the changes, but then many deaths will have happened. Wouldn't it be nice if the masses stood up to prevent it from self destruction.

So protect your spirit, it is all you really have.

Deep inside my gene pool there's a language called Taino. It means "peace." It was the first word that the Arawaks said to the first Spaniards they met. Unfortunately, they weren't listened to.
Somewhere else in the gene pool there's a language called Ladino. Basically, it's the Spanish of the 15th-century Jews that were made to leave Spain so the kingdom could be "religiously pure" and then kept wandering every so often until they found a new home.
When I was a bullied 11-12 year-old, my father used to call me at 7:20 in the morning before I left to catch the school bus. His main wish for me over the years has always been "be at peace".

Thank you for sharing that personal story of your Father taking the time to call you each morning. That is the same wish that I've had for both my two, now twenty something children, and now passing to my Grandchild. To be at "peace" is the greatest gift of all.

...insanity of the leaders...not in the best interest of anyone! Truth, respect, discipline...honor nature...Let the spirit live!!! Those of us who were encouraged to follow dreams in any manner are the lucky ones. My daughter lives and works and plays in nature with horses and people who love animals. I'm happy that she could find a path so rewarding. Any of us who has strength to battle the insanity needs to do so without hesitation. It's difficult to continue with passion for life when the life forces are being drained from our earth. Nevertheless, we must continue on and create paths for our next generations to follow. Let's lead them to the sun and away from the heartless and mindless ruin of little minds.

Good video!
It is sad that in our capacity to create tools, which just happened, naturally, simple tools, and complex tools, we found ways to exploit the earth and our fellow humans in an insatiable, it seems, manner.

Thank you Dandelion for sharing this powerful video, so full of truth. John Trudell is such a great thinker, too bad that so many around the world with all their greediness do not have his power of thought!
