Franklin K. Lane, Secretary of the Interior, delivered a 1914 Flag Day address in which he said the flag had spoken to him that morning: "I am what you make me; nothing more. I swing before your eyes as a bright gleam of color, a symbol of yourself."

I know Flag Day was June 14th, but with some C2 problems with lags and difficulties getting stories on, this is a few days later than I wanted getting it on. Robin Williams is such a talented man and this I thought fitting for the day.

Long may it wave, and may it again stand for freedom and justice. Ya gotta love Robin Williams.

Thanks Dandelion, if we don't laugh at ourselves, things get way too serious, all perspective loses meaning.

Still number one after all these years and still the only man to reduce Johnny Carson to side splitting; faced down on the desk laughter in under ten minutes or less. Thank you Sir. Groucho never had anything on you.

It amazes me sometimes to see what depths people will sink to, to get attention.

In the 80's America in my opinion has 3 comic greats: Carlin, Pryor, and Williams. It's too bad Williams has been dealing with drug demons off and on for years; he is a comic genius. The last picture I saw of him, he has had a face lift, and was supporting his son's stand up career.

Great video!!! I have a flag on the house right now. I always had one in my classroom when I was a teacher. I always did the pledge too. But remember if we want the flag to stand for freedom and for all the people --- we have to keep practicing those ideals and stay involved. ( guess that's preaching to the choir on here.)

Absolutely histerical! Robin Williams brings the flag to life! I enjoyed seeing how we looked back in the '80s! Thnx Dandelion! God Bless America and bring her back to 'Andy Griffith Show' days!
