Every single independent study conducted on the impact of genetically modified food shows that it damages organs, it causes infertility, it causes immune system failure, it causes holes in the GI tract, and it causes multiple organ system failure.

Absolutely noted, signed, twittered, fb and google shared. This needs to be spread as far and wide as possible. This is giving me nightmares. I cannot stress how important it is for every single citizen to get informed and involved in this catastrophe. Again, thank you Sheryl for your efforts at educating all of us. A million green stars for your sharing today.

Monsanto spreads the seeds of destruction. Frightening that governments don't care about food and how GMO can destroy life. Profit runs much of the world and much of the mindset of corporate elites has no consideration for the world, Nature or anything else except for their own narrow ends. The future...who cares they say, since they will be dead and buried.

Noted, signed petition and forwarded to facebook. Thank you for posting this very informative video. Another must watch video on Monsanto is "The World According to Monsanto". Over the years I have signed so many petitions against gmos that sometimes I feel as if we're fighting a losing battle, but will continue to always sign any petition against gmos. Once again thanks for sharing.

Thanks.
A documentary I saw a few years ago, called " Killer Bargain" made a big impression on me.

2006 Tom Heinemann
Jesper Lund
California Newsreel

I looked at my cotton dish cloths, towels, shirts, from India - what I thought was good
cotton made in India, etc. may have been cotton from the pesticide, cancer cotton factories
and fields, where the workers were being poisoned from the Scandanavian owned, or other
companies using pesticides made from chemicals banned in Europe after WW1!!

This is a must see documentary. It was not easy to make - factory owners, and local
sellers of the pesticides, in question, and used to increase the yield of cotton crops,
the methods and worker abuses and resulting serious health impact on the communities, was
devastating to watch.
The documentary also describes Monsanto controlled seed sales, as far as I remember.

to clarify, the Scandanavian companies referenced in the documentary were selling the pesticides to buyers in India.
They bought the final products, which were found in department stores across Europe. ( No mention of the U.S.)
The rate of cancer and other related disease skyrocketed, where these chemicals were used.
The damage to communities, workers and inhabitants was appalling.
The pesticides were used to kill larvae on the growing cotton.
The local cotton growers used up workers, and disgarded them as they got sick.
Workers included children, and those known as "untouchables" - exploited and paid
minimally.
I could not help thinking how few people are probably aware of the working conditions in
the fields and factories.
One company, I forget the name, advertises it's linen, etc., as healthy, green, all that...
if the people only knew what it took to make that "luxury" towel their toddler is stepping
into after the bath!

Thank you for your comment. I could not find the full documentary on youtube but will leave the trailer and in hopes others, includes myself, can obtain a viewing at some point.

The Killer Bargain Trailer

Seeds of Death is certainly worth the watch and it is shown in it's full film. Please, after watching, I'm sure it will be another one of those that you will want people to view. We need to stop this insanity.

This looks like a great documentary Dandelion and i'll make time to watch it. We must inform ourselves and indeed stop this insanity!

"Genetic Roulette" is another good documentary, but i don't think the full film is available on youtube anymore. And "Islands at Risk" is a good perspective form Hawaii (on youtube).

Thank you so much for sharing this with everyone, Dandelion. This entire nightmare happens to be one of my most intense activist dedications. I do feel that unfortunately nothing will be done to stop GE, Monsanto, factory farming, big pharma, etc. as the government supports all things corporate and nothing will ever change. Education as this is so important. I promote a vegan, organic and non-gmo approach. There is now a link you can check if you haven't" nongmoproject.org. When you are shopping it is possible to find a small blue label that says 'NON GMO project VERIFIED'. It does not sound like much but every bit helps. The food supply in this nation is a disaster and all the beautiful layout in every supermarket is to make one scream if you know what it is all about. I am a devotee of the RT news network and they have between news programs EXCELLENT documentaries which have included extensive coverage of the entire topic of Monsanto and GE's. And as we see here how it is affecting the entire world in so many disastrous ways. Also, one of the biggest scams is that of bottled drinking water. It is the same as tap water and even when we think those plastic bottles we so concientiously recycle never are recycled but about a third of them which we know is more to destroy the ocean life. Thanks again. I truly appreciate your putting this out there for all.

Thanks Bryan for the additional titles to documentaries; I'll check them out.

Deborah thanks for also placing the nongmoproject.org link, as you say, everything little thing helps. I've been onto the bottled water for a long time but unfortunately so many are not. I suggest the film Flow For The Love of Water and I'll add the hotlink below. If I find the ones you mentioned Bryan I'll also hotlink them here as well.

Great documentary. I have been looking for another one to take the place of the one that I really liked, but it just mysteriously disappeared. It was a very good one too. Noted and shared.

I'm fairly sure I signed the WH petition, but was going to check just to make sure and I got the message just now that the petition has expired.

Thanks again for posting this. We must all do everything we can to at least get labeling. I fear for the planet and everyone on it :(

It is truly disgusting that which has been done,and/or allowed to happen to nature and food chains. Having spent many years of my life also hauling EVERY kind of fruit and produce (which I no longer do,but am actually glad that I don't anymore) and having a first hand knowledge of what goes on in food production, packaging, etc.and also a great deal of chemical/chemistry knowledge, I, for many years now, absolutely WILL NOT eat,nor even buy ANY fruit or produce that I do not either get from local farms and sources that I know personally or grow myself.
It is VERY true that if it does NOT occur naturally in nature, then it SHOULD and CAN be deemed as nothing short of POISON ! The public REALLY needs to get an understanding that CANCER, and SEVERE medical problems,ARE BIG BIG BIG CASH COWS for the DRUG companies,'medical industry' and YES even DEATH itself and that the VERMIN responsible for GMO's and such ONLY give a DAMN about THEIR bottomless pockets and UNLIMITED income from it/them!
