You are both welcome......this isn't the typical type of video I place on but this was way so over the top funny and cool as you say Ben, I couldn't resist. My Granddaughter and I have been having a great time singing and dancing to this and I swear it is helping me feel better from this cold/flu.

Thank, my friend. This is cute and a lot of fun. I have seen lots of foxes and never heard a sound from them. I wonder what they do say, if anything? lol. Thanks for the fun video.

As I've been reading, after watching video people tend to look up a video of the sound of what a fox makes. I will give you a hint, not far from what the video is saying they do.....lol

Thanks Dandelion...really appreciate the words were shown as I have a hard time understanding songs due to my hearing problem. I always thought that foxes spoke just like we do. The fox said to the Little Prince: "One only sees well with the heart. The essentials are invisible to the eyes" Feel better.

Thanks you so much Dandelion - now that's what I call "good energy" As for the fox sound..never really taken much notice but I do know how the neighbours' chooks sound when it gets into their pen. Glad to hear your getting on top of that cold/flu..my dear friend.

Thank you Dandelion! It was cute and I really didn't know what a fox would say to communicate. I also believe that I still don't know since I've never heard that singing coming from the woods! TY!

Such a sweet costumed kaleidoscope of
the vulpine kingdom. Surely little Kayle will
appreciate her hip rock-roll grandma's video
library. If you can find them, play for her;
"Little Red Riding Hood" & Tommy Roe's
"Sweet Pea" both great kids tunes from the 70's.

I enjoyed the video very much, but it left me wondering: "What DOES the fox say?" So I did a search and found a site that featured the vocalizations of several varieties of foxes. Here's the link: What sound does a fox really make?"

The child in me likes this one better: The fox & the hound

Thanks for posting this great video, Dandelion. I think it made a lot of us think. You really don't hear the sound of the fox very often, if at all.

Just at the very beginning there I heard Guns and Roses, who despite their complete inability to get over themselves, spun out some wonderful music, enjoyed the rest of it it too, thanks, Dandelion. You know I grew up on a farm, out in our woods was a hill I called fox hill, covered with dens, I used to watch it for hours and never once saw one. I have since, of course, I've seen one trotting down a street in my suburban neighborhood within the last year as we humans encroach evermore on what was once their territory and they discover we leave an extraordinary amount of food outside for them to eat. Never heard one's voice though. And still haven't. :^)

Well, over the past years when staying at my mom's home I did have many occasions to actually hear them when they used to come at night time to cavort on the big lawn behind her house. I can tell you the sounds in the video underlined with "Joff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchof" etc (at about 1.05-1.09) come very close and sound quite familiar to me.
Thx Sheryl.

Well, that was quite delightful! Interestingly enough, there was an unrelated video of actual fox vocalisations including the Vixen's call. Interesting fact that a female fox is called a vixen . . . something I did not previously know. From that little video, I would say that the fox sounds similar to a dog but it appears with a wider pattern of vocalisations. They are definitely much diffeent to coyotes which I have often heard and seen just outside my door and in the park. Thanks

Now this was awesome. I needed the laugh! :)

We have a large fox that sneaks into our yard. It comes at about the same time each night, over our neighbors fence. Since it is only around in the dark, and at the darkest area of the fence we have no idea what kind it is.

Thank you AniMaeChi for sending this my way. :)

Congrats David on the wee ones. I hope you do get a long holiday with them. Indeed, that is what this was for a laugh and a smile or two. We all work hard on various issues and causes, our home life to keep going, I thought we need a smile to remember what we keep going for, and for those wee ones as well.

I think my Granddaughter alone has placed about 100 of the number hits onto the Youtube, so just LOVES the song. Got the words down pretty good and the dance moves too, she is 6 years old.
