Robert F. Kennedy Jr. noted during a recent visit to Standing Rock, investors into Big Oil want the Dakota Access pipeline to go through so that the nation feels too invested in oil to move onto alternative energy.

Let's hope they miss the deadline and the investors cut their losses and abandon it. Maybe other pipeline plans in other areas will be reconsidered.

Good the sooner the better and the more the better. This should cause some well deserved pan to the investors who may lose some of their millions invested. in the project.

One major investor withdrawing, like the Norwegian Bank selling their part, may unravel the deal...RFK does paint the fuller context indeed. Thanks for posting Dandelion.

I sure hope they miss the deadline. I also hope supplies are getting through so the water protectors can make it through the month of December. We need more celebrities and the like, to get involved. If they could help carry supplies through it would help. they need money to help them.

Noted. Thanks, Dandelion.
Well, I really hope the water protectors can hold them off. But, in the past 2 days, the price of a barrel of oil has gone up about 10% and is now around the $50.00 mark. If it stabilizes there, or continues to rise, I worry that the militarized police will become more brutal. I hope the veterans get there soon......

Good news: This vile project has a deadline. Bad news: This may pressure Enbridge and the Army Corps(e) of Engineers to do something drastic, brutal and stupid. Let us keep hoping, spreading the news, sending what assistance we can, and praying too.
