She got no standing ovation. She got no mainstream media lauds for her heroism. Senator Mazie Hirono got no kudos for leaving home from Hawaii. was just doing her job as a good politician voting not to repeal the ACA so as to protect her constituents.

WOW Blessed Be Senator Mazie Hirono, an angel for the people!

"The energy in opposing #Trumpcare has been incredible.
But if we don't speak out today louder than ever, it'll all be in vain. #VoteNo"

Thanks so much Dandelion for raising up this unsung heroine as this quote explains:
"She stood up for people who aren't lucky enough to have gold-plated, taxpayer-funded coverage. She got no standing ovations, no time to make a speech with wall-to-wall cable news coverage and no one is falling over themselves to talk about her courage. Real heroes walk their talk and honor their professed values when it actually matters."

She got no recognition, no greetings or hugs, no thank you’s and no Television or Social Media coverage.
After all she is only a girl .
Bless you and your family and thank you for the courage, respectability and honor you brought to the house and people you love and serve with honor. What a brave heart and spirit you possess. No one had to ask you to do the right thing, because that is what good girls always do . Thank you Maize Hirono

Don't forget that John McCain came strait from surgery to vote against the GOP's "skinny repeal" - Kudos to both of them.

Indeed. We have gone on year after year with the GOP trying to repeal the ACA. Time and money wasted on removing medical care from the American people while trying to protect the Corporatists within the Insurance Industry.

Now, let us hope the Democrats take the next step forward and bring us true Universal Health Care. The majority of the people are ready and that would do their broken Party good to start returning to the New Deal Programs. Medicare was not suppose to have stopped with the older citizens it was meant to be a program for everyone.

Although I did not want the ACA to begin with, I saw it as perhaps a stepping stone to move into Universal Health Care. The Lobbyist fought like crazy to prevent us from having Universal Health Care and really the ACA is not working as it should because it was still a gift to the Insurance Industry. It is neither here or there.

The GOP doesn't like it because it has involvement with the government and the people on the left see that the Insurance Corporations still have too much control and strings attached to it. ACA still allows too many to remain without coverage and people are still saddled with high deductibles, co pays, limited coverage.

I just posted an article that breaks down what we need and why for a medical system. Share it with your friends and family. Health Care Research Paper Delivered to Congress

Signed with great appreciation for Senator Hirono's flying to Washington to save America's health care despite her stage 4 kidney cancer. Thanks to all senators who voted against the repeal, particularly Senator Merkowski who received threats from Trump and his Interior Secretary Zinke if she failed to vote their way.

Petition signed. An exceptional human being, woman, and senator.

Fran F --- Murkowski has already asked the state to approve certain projects in Alaska that come through Zinke. I would say Zinke and Drumpf messed with the wrong woman.
