A Sanctuary for Animals in Arabian Desert

Animals  (tags: sanctuary )

Ronel Smuts is the manager of the Abu Dhabi Wildlife Sanctuary, financed by a local prince. Some animals arrive bone thin, others were abused, like a lioness whose teeth were filed down. Many arrive in the region via a black-market trade.

This is a well noted story. I'm impressed to not only to read this but to be humbeled by the actions of the prince and those involved in caring for these dear souls. Thank you for posting this.

A lot of good things are happening in Dubai. I hope they become an inspiration for other countries in that part of the world.
