The predators on our society will scream about threats to "freedom" as soon as we start going after them, but it's just about trying to protect profits.

Unregulated capitalism is out of control. Like a cancer, it has become "something evil or malignant that spreads destructively," with tumors growing in several once-healthy parts of the American body.

Thank you Beverly, you are so right. These are truely predators motivated only by GREED. They care nothing for you, I or our environment. They care about themselves & their "Golden Parachutes". They don't give a hoot who or what they mow down or destroy to get it!
Noted & shared alot.

Capitalism destroys the very structure of the societies it enriches.

Capitalist economies are money-driven without much regard for people unless they are owners or shareholders of business firms. Big companies get bigger and the rich get richer.

The WWII recovery was fake, rebuilding Europe and we had the upper hand having been untouched by destruction and devastation and they had their excessive population trimmed.
Then we began the cold war to starve out communism the real agenda of the 20th century plus the permanent defense establishment with arms race.
Now we are back on robber baron track with the competition of communism out of the way. Addicted to profits and the mistaken idea of survival of the fittest as the epitome of the human race. Human society is not a jungle and individual dominance and excessive wealth is not the ultimate strategy for society as a whole. It is a strategy for civilization collapse.

REGULATED Capitalism does work and work for everyone. UNREGULATED Capitalism does not. Government must be act as the brake on the excesses of Capitalism and assure a level playing field.

Such greed is unsustainable, our planet is doomed. Colonising another planet, is not the answer. We need a change of thinking, where less is more.

Some people are born without compassion. That is why you need regulation on banks, stocks, environment, etc. In a civilized society there have to be laws and regulation to curb the greed of such people.

True Alan. When capitalism is unregulated with total disregard for human life in exchange for investment it is always destructive.
