President Obama says that high executive salaries contributed to a “reckless culture” that nearly destroyed our economy.

That’s why the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law, which Congress passed in 2010, requires publicly traded corporations to disclose how much their CEOs make compared to their average worker.

Three years later, the Securities and Exchange Commission has yet to even pass regulations enforcing this rule—and meanwhile, corporations have not complied.

Ha, ha ha! I can see it now--the Feds storming the corporations and demanding "normal" salaries for their CEO's. What a joke. One forgets that the Feds have their noses up the corporations' backsides so far, it would take a "noseotomy" to release them. Stupidos!

what's good for the goose is good for the gander. If the company's workers don't get a pay raise, neither should the CEO. If the workers gain a 2% wage increase, that ought to be enough for the CEO. If the company slashes wages and/or benefits, the same should happen to the CEO. I know it won't happen- but that is how it should have been all along. That CEO's were allowed to give themselves raises while laying off staff, ought to be considered a crime.

It's long overdue! These greedy fatcats pay maximum to themselves thats why the workers get "peanuts". The fatcats have run away with themselves bcos the trend is even if the co doesnt make a profit they still pay themselves exorbitant increases & to add insult to injury give themselves bonuses! All comes back to self enrichment & GREED!
