Stand with organizations like NORML and urge Congress to protect state-authorized medical marijuana patients and providers under The States' Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act.

The federal government is raiding, prosecuting and incarcerating individuals who are acting in compliance with state medical marijuana laws. Currently 20 states, as well as the District of Columbia, have passed laws protecting medical marijuana patients from state prosecution. Yet, the risk of federal incarceration is still an ongoing fear in some states. The States' Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act would ensure that medical marijuana patients in states that have approved its use will no longer fear prosecution under federal law.

The government has decided to let these people use MMJ to begin with, then they go & screw with them for doing their medicine as prescribed. It just figures.

I once had a very good friend who had MS and he swore that Marijuana had a beneficial effect on his symptoms and relieved his pain at the same time making him feel better.Unfortunately Marijuana is illegal in the UK and so buying it from a street supplier made him a criminal.I don't see anything wrong in taking this drug if it is prescribed by the medical profession. If taking this drug brings relief and improves their quality of life then they should not be prosecuted for taking it, Unfortunately my friend passed away some years ago and is sadly missed.

it is a medicinal herb put on earth for healing, it should be legal. They say it also brings down eye pressure for Glaucoma, which would be great - might stop us sufferers from one day loosing our sight.
