On Tuesday, love had a win.

The ACT made marriage equality a reality for same-sex couples in Australia for the first time. It was a beautiful, historic, long-overdue day.

Today, that love is being challenged in the High Court.

Attorney-General George Brandis has decided to fight the change and is attempting to restore discrimination to ACT marriage law.

People have waited too long for their love to be recognised, and we'll be damned if we let anyone take it away now. We need to show him the love he is fighting against.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said "love has within it a redemptive power. And there is a power there that eventually transforms individuals". Let's fill the gaping hole in the space where Senator Brandis' heart should be with our stories. Let's fill his conscience with tales of love, friendship and lifelong romance. Let's transform him, using the power of love.

A non-issue?
We will be closer to saving the planet when all humans can show tolerance & stop hatefully discriminating against each other.

What I find interesting is how quickly they are rushing this through. What's the big hurry? I've never seen government move so fast.
