Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional security for the U.S. mission in Benghazi ahead of the terrorist attack but the orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein. Those same sources also say former President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife to release official State Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing the election.

Appearing on TheBlazeTV’s “Wilkow!” on Wednesday night, Klein told host Andrew Wilkow that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been having “big fights” for “two or three weeks” about the issue, according to his two sources on Clinton’s legal counsel. While Bill Clinton wishes his wife would “exonerate” herself by releasing the documents that show she wasn’t at fault for the tragic security failure in Libya, the secretary of state refuses to do so because she doesn’t want to be viewed as a traitor to the Democratic party.

On Glenn Beck’s radio show earlier on Wednesday, Klein said his information comes from two “very good” sources.

Wilkow pointed out the obvious, that the Obamas and the Clintons have a “very behind the scenes, tense relationship” — to put it lightly.

“I said to you last night, and I think I stand corrected, that it seemed like Obama out-Clintoned the Clintons,” Wilkow said. “But Clinton seems to have gone along with all of this because he knew that Hillary would be exonerated in the end.”

He then asked Klein whether he thought Clinton would resign over the Libya scandal and expose the truth.

“No,” the author said immediately. “I can’t imagine that she would resign. It would bring down the entire administration. [Obama] would lose the election and she would be essentially blamed by the left-wing base of the party.”

“She will not be tarred with the blame for bringing down this administration,” Klein added.

Watch the segment via TheBlazeTV below:

In an exclusive interview with TheBlaze, Klein confirmed that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been engaging in “heated discussions” where the former president has urged his wife to “release the documents that would exonerate her.” He reiterated that Clinton has refused to do so because she fears she would look like a “Judas,” or a traitor, in the administration and it might hurt her chances for a presidential nomination in 2016.

If the claims turn out to be true and Clinton did suggest more security be sent to Benghazi, it is appropriate to ask: why didn’t it happen?

Klein said Clinton’s request for beefed up security would have to go through CIA special ops and or the Pentagon.

“But none of that would happen with the National Security advisor to the president of the United States Tom Donilon going to the president and saying, ‘We want to send reinforcements to Libya because our ambassador is in jeopardy,’” Klein explained.

Ultimately, he indicated the ultimate authority would have been President Obama.

Wilkow and Klein also discussed what role Obama’s closest advisor, Valerie Jarrett, played in the Benghazi cover-up.

By Obama’s own admission, Klein said, the president never makes a big decision without first consulting with Jarrett.

“We have to assume that Valerie Jarrett, who is also by the way hooked into the Chicago campaign…that she was part of this cover-up in the White House.”

He continued: “The CIA got cables, the Department of Defense got cables, the NSA got cables during the attack on Benghazi, in addition to the emails that have since been made public. We know that there are cables that we haven’t seen yet, confirming the State Department cables that this was an al-Qaeda linked attack.”

These new revelations, following Tuesday night’s explosive report that 300 to 400 national security officials received emails detailing the Benghazi terrorist attack as it was happening, raise fresh questions about the truth behind the Benghazi attack.

The emails revealed that the Libyan radical Islamic group Ansar al-Sharia claimed responsibility for the attack just two hours after it began. White House officials told CBS News that an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Libya, providing Washington with a live feed to the chaos that unfolded.

Oh my , more B.S. in my opinion ,in the usual form of hype about nothing other than for the hype of it. So what else has FoxGOPpropagandaNetwork have to say about today...the sky is falling and it's the black man in the White House who's at fault...or are they just focusing on another 'big story' that will take Obama down like this topic has derailed their own focus this close to the election when so many other actual 'articles' with at least some fact are available to run with ?
Clinton and Hillary have their own agenda for their future whatever it is...and only those too clueless to that fact will try and second guess them as to that. It's absurd,I think, for anyone to think that Bill would encourage Hillary to do what this article is suggesting at this time especially , even were it true ...which I have strong feelings that it isn't..but I also think that the spin is a waste of rightwingers time ...but that is more than fine with me personally. It's Romney religion as well as his background for job outsourcing that the right should be trying to explain away...as that's what more people are concerned with than foreign affairs this close to the election.

OH well.. their choice of course. Keeps the rightwing on care2 where few if any converts... for my favorite klan of insanitea..the teabaggers, can to be found currently.... instead of other sites where the more 'confused and out of the loop until just prior to an election spend their time'. As I've said on threads in the past, I like chats with teabaggers and rightwing extremist on care2,as they give myself and others the opportunity to challenge their misinformation and or what I and others believe to be lies by pointing them out with facts...and the same for their B.S. rethoric in general ....

I guess it hasn't dawned on the tiny minds about bringing up Bill just reminds the left of how much they respect them both and that just seeing him so much lately does prompt each and every one to make sure they get out the vote for Obama...aka..the Democratic Party...via Bill's presence. Perhaps he's playing the right for the suckers many of us see them as ? He is about the brightest and best polician when it comes to tactical methods and appeal isn't he .....

All I need do is look at the source of this so called news. Now that the republicans have seen that Romney is nothing more than a pathetic excuse they offer, any and every lie and fabrication of fact is now being stated as some type of fact. Fortunately, for those of us who are willing to accept actual facts, this is nothing more than the republican agenda to lie, cheat, steal, and do whatever they feel is necessary to steal this election from President Obama.

Racism and hate are very dangerous to all, but possibly more dangerous to those who while denying it are the most racist and hateful we have seen since the 1960's.

It is very believable that Ms. Clinton would cover this up for Obama, fearing the flak she'd take from the Party and out of loyalty. There have been enough news items to show that intelligence reports made it clear from the early hours that the Benghazi attack was an Islamist terror attack, and Obama never likes to shine a light on those.

It is also very believable that Hillary ordered increased security for that cardboard box embassy building and nothing was ever done. She should not have to take the rap for Obama and his minions.

It's time for people to wake up to this Quisling president and his radical friends and vote for a real, true Progressive - Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party(endorsed by the great progressive Ralph Nader), or Dr. Stein of the Green Party. Even write in the name of Bernie Saunders.

The Democratic Party no longer exists in any form recognizable. Obama is willing to reduce Social Security, his environmental record is only slightly better than Dubyas, he tailored a bogus healthcare plan that benefits the insurance companies - the thieves who feed off our health, he has backed the Saudi backed Muslim Brotherhood in every one of their 'revolutions' to overthrow non-Islamist governments and install Islamist governments whose goal is to bring back barbaric Sharia Law, and now he's still backing these hatemongers in Syria. A recent report by a terrorist monitoring org proves Obama and his admin. are surrounded by radical western hating Islamists giving them 'advice'. Whose side is this Quisling on? The Muslim Brotherhood has stated they want to 'destroy western civilization' and Obama embraces them like the scum Morsi, who recently was seen joining in prayer for the destruction of all Jews. Talk about 'hate' Carrie. You haven't got a clue. Keep stroking your crystal.

You willfully blind knee-jerk Democrats who refuse to see that your party abandoned you long ago - it's time you woke up and opened your eyes. What has Obama really done that is progressive? He had 2 years with a Democratic Congress inwhich he could have pushed through a real progressive agenda, but he did nothing.

He's appointed a Treasury Sec. straight out of Wall St. - the same people whose corruption and greed has caused the economic crisis so many suffer under. This is who he gets his economic advice from! A real progressive would have fought, like FDR, to put back regulations on these incompetent, corrupt corporations and banks that Reagan, both Bushes and Bill Clinton (that Republican in Democrat clothing) all hacked away. But he didn't, did he?

The US is sinking under the rule of the Corporatocracy and the two wings of the one Corporate Party - the Republicrats. Wake up and get real. Until you vote for people who are not owned by the corporations nothing will ever improve or change.

Carrie, you are so against hate as I've seen you state often before, yet you blame those who are trying to fight against the hate of Islam (which you obviously know nothing about and have made no effort to remedy this ignorance). Where's your caring for the many victims of Islamic hate? Women, children, gays, all non-Muslims? You believe everything they tell you and ignore all the evidence of Islamic daily atrocities. Where is your outrage against Islamic hate?

Mohammed said "I have been made victorious with terror". "He (Allah) does not love the unbeliever (non-Muslim)" and "...kill unbelievers wherever you find them". These and many more verses of hate from this most hateful of all ideologies on earth have been given to you all before with references, so I'm not bothering with that now. The Qur'an alone contains 109 verses of hate and violence against non-Muslims ("the vilest of creatures"), yet you never deign to condemn this hate that is the basis for Islamist terrorism and violence the world over, do you. I'm so tired of people like you who claim to be so Liberal and caring but turn your venom on those who are the ones who really care about hate and violence and are fighting against this cult of hate and death.

You have no credibility. Get some education. Read the Qur'an, hadith (at least Buhkari) and sirah, then tell us about hate. You're like those Liberals in the 1930s who said the same about those trying to warn about the Nazi danger and appeased and defended Hitler and his hate cult (which BTW attracted 100,000 Muslim volunteers to kill Jews). You and your ilk even use the same phrases and words.

If you and Jae are what passes for Progressives and Liberals here, then there is no hope.

I think, for anyone to think that Bill would encourage Hillary to do what this article is suggesting at this time especially , even were it true ...which I have strong feelings that it isn't..

First of all Jae..this article isn't "suggesting" anything..it is TELLING the facts but yet again you refuse to actually consider facts as the truth because you have "strong feelings".....STRONG FEELINGS!?!? Thank goodness we don't have more people like that running the country or we'd be in deeper sh*t than we are now!! If you can't see that Bill Clinton and Hillary are in a feud with Obama over this then you are sleeping!! It's bad enough they have to take the blame when they are the casue of the problem but to take the blame when Obama is the one who deserves the blame all for the sake of saving the "party" is about the dumbest thing they could possibly do! Maybe...just maybe...this is the best thing they could do for the party so people could actually sit back and see how screwed up the party is and maybe start thinking about doing something to change it!!!

Carrie...Actual facts have been hitting you in the forehead ever since I have known you and nothing has worked yet because you continue on with your same propaganda....dig your head deeper in the sand!

To Democrats, Obama can do no wrong. This belief is blinding the country to his dangerous courting of anti-American Islamists and huge blunders in the Middle East. This is yet another one, and I doubt the Obama administration will offer the truth, even when people's lives depend on it.

Hillary was thrown under the bus by the DNC and my guess is that she has the memory of an elephant. That didn't sit well with her. There's no love between the Clintons and the Obamas. I would hope that Hillary does the right thing. My guess is that Billy Boy wants her to do just that. It would escalate her 2016 status to run for president.

Per Care 2 Tips for news submission:

Choose the Right Title and Description - A clear and concise title will get the attention of News Network analysts. Briefly explain why the story is important.

Carol D stated..."..........it proves NOTHING ", which is exactly what I am saying about this article.

Carola May ..one doesn't need to hate in order to state their opinion. As for my being a progress..you bet! As for my being an example of that being a problem for you then ...sucks to be you in my opinion. Insults never effect me

Carola May, as other rightwing extremist on care2 can confirm as many have and often do try. Since you've brought up religions and their quotes as to how they feel about others not of their religion...how about the Mormon religions opinion of other religions, even that of the Chritian one..which Mormonism is not one of...Below are some examples of the Mormon religion/beliefs..within their prophecy, perhaps you will compare them to the Muslim one to decide which is the more against the religion of others. I think it be a good thing for all to compare them before this next election.

This is the same Religion that Mitt Romney is one of it's highest ranking Priesthood members...and he is bound to uphold the words/beliefs of the Morman prophecy, which some appear above in the examples I've given ....and to follow them were he to become a U.S. President.

FYI...If anyone is questioning my source [s]...for starters I am married to an ex-Mormon who's family were all Mormons ..but over the years they each step'd away from it the more they learned about it themselves. I think most can see why from the examples I've given... and yes there are plenty more of examples, but these should give all a fair comparrison to go by I think :

**1. Mormonism does not respect Christianity. It in fact calls it the "whore of Babylon".

"Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p.167); "Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom."
- Prophet John Taylor, Journal of Discourses, 10:127

One of the Mormon Books of Scripture, The Pearl of Great Price, says this about non-LDS churches: "...they were ALL WRONG; and the Personage who addressed me said that ALL their creeds were an ABOMINATION in his sight; that those professors were ALL CORRUPT…" (Joseph Smith, 2:19)

"...all the priests who adhere to the sectarian religions of the day with all their followers, without one exception, receive their portion with the devil and his angels."
- Prophet Joseph Smith , The Elders Journal, Joseph Smith Jr., editor, vol.1, no.4, p.60

Herber C. Kimball, First Councilor to Brigham Young, clarifies further: "But if you are told by your leader to do a thing, do it. None of your business whether it is right or wrong." (Journal of Discourses. vol.6 pg.32)

The Bible warns us in 1 Jn.4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Mormonism teaches there’s no salvation outside the Mormon Church and without accepting Joseph Smith.

Apostle Bruce R. McConkie makes this statement: "If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." (Mormon Doctrine pg.670)

Come on! ye prosecutors! ye false swearers! All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, roll down your lava! for I will come out on top at last. I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet...When they can get rid of me, the devil will also go." (History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408, 409)

"...that no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith. From the day that the Priesthood was taken from the earth to the winding-up scene of all things, every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are—I with you and you with me. I cannot go there without his consent. He holds the keys of that kingdom for the last dispensation—the keys to rule in the spirit-world; and he rules there triumphantly, for he gained full power and a glorious victory over the power of Satan while he was yet in the flesh, and was a martyr to his religion and to the name of Christ, which gives him a most perfect victory in the spirit-world. He reigns there as supreme a being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as God does in heaven. Many will exclaim—"Oh, that is very disagreeable! It is preposterous! We cannot bear the thought!" But it is true."

“I have never yet preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they may not call scripture. Let me have the privilege of correcting a sermon, and it is as good Scripture as they deserve. The people have the oracles of God continually. “ Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Volume 13, Page 95

The inspired words of our living prophets are also accepted as scripture. - Gospel Principles, Page 52, 1997

Mormonism is not Christian because you have the name Jesus Christ in your title. I can call myself Ford, but it doesn't make me one.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." Matthew 7:21

Most importantly is that who you believe Jesus to be determines whether you have the right Jesus.

Mormons believe that Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer and was a created being just like Lucifer and us. Whereas the Bible says that Jesus is YHWH and is the creator of ALL things in creation

"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” John 8:24 Jesus identifies Himself as the I AM of Exodus 3:14

John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made"

Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."

Versus Mormonism

Milton R. Hunter writes: "The appointment of Jesus to be the Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer... this spirit-brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of mankind." (The Gospel Through The Ages pg.15)

LDS official lessons for children show their belief that Jesus and Lucifer are brother spirits, contrary to the words of Jesus that He is the creator of all things including Lucifer ." **

Rob and Jay B. ..speaking of things that no longer exist that would be 'conservatism' which Reagan proved when he left his huge debt after he was president and then more proof came when Dubya Bush was president..and the huge almost 11 trillion in debt he left after his term or death and destruction for many the world over..as well as economic crisis from his administration that we are still seeing the waves / effects from and will for some time I believe.

What is George W Bush's debt vs Obama's debt?
How much debt did Bush rack up in his 8 years in office? How much debt has Obama added in his 3 1/2 years in office?

When Bush took office there was a $5.7 trillion debt. By the time he left it was $10.6 trillion 8 years later. Obama has it now up to $15.7 in just 3 1/2 years. So that means that Obama has spent more in 3.5 years already than Bush did in 8.

The most astonishing part is that NOBODY CARES! They only care about how awesome he "slow-jams" the news or picks March Madness brackets.

That would be a 5 trillion increase over 8 years for Bush and a 5 + trillion for Obama in 3 and one half years...let's see..there is 8 and then 3 and 1/2...8 or 3 1/2..which is greater!? Mmmmmm...and the affects of the increase of Obama's will be flet WAY beyond those years of Bush...as in way....way...way beyond Jae!!

Bush...almost 11 trillion plus the effects that followed translating into even more.

SInce then..just as with any 'business' over head and obigations as to payment/outgoing funds continue on regardless if the company is already deep into debt...thus in order to stay in business so to say..the debt must continue to rise. We have yet to see the total of debt that the Dubya Administration will end us being over the long haul to recovery...which might be longer than anyone other than those on the rightwing side thought it would be ,due to the GOP in Congress doing all they could for the past four years to stall our recovery.

Carola May, What I know about Islamist extremists is that they are no different from the right wing religious extremists in this country. They are trying to promote their personal interpretation of the Koran and force all Muslims to accept it, exactly the same way the right wing religious Christians in the U.S. are trying to promote their personal interpretation of the Bible and force the entire country to accept it.

May I remind you that this country was founded on religious freedom and the separation of church and state? Our Founding Fathers would not be pleased to see what has happened to those ideals and freedoms since 2010 and will continue to happen if there is a Romney presidency.

As far as this story - promoting fiction from the right wing blogesphere should be expected by the Romney supporters as they are following in his footsteps. No facts, just outright lies or conjecture which when proven to be inaccurate are just ignored.

By the way Carol, you don't know me - you just think you do, so when making your personal attacks - keep that in mind.

Excerpt: " The presence of officers with Jewish backgrounds in the German armed forces has been uncovered in state documents traced by a young American currently studying at Cambridge.
Among the thousands of soldiers of Jewish parentage who we reported briefly last week as serving in Hitler's army during the Second World War were two generals, eight lieutenant generals, five major generals, and 23 colonels.

They fought for the Nazi leaders who ordered the extermination of the Jews."

When Bush took office there was a $5.7 trillion debt. By the time he left it was $10.6 trillion 8 years later.......that is LESS than 5 trillion...not 11 trillion...but less that 5 trillion! The rest of it Jae is ALL on Obama!! No matter which way you want to finagle it it's all Obama's!!!

Carrie you are so far out of it I can't believe it!! Everything you said there about Islam and the right wing is so F****d up it's unreal!! But by the end of his term is was already almost 11 trillion.Of course are ignoring the fact of the cash flow he started with that he and his administration spent before they began their spend and then borrowing spree for the next eight years...add that to the debt and you can clearly see what they did by the end of their death/destruction and economic crisis they left behind. Now can you undersstand how the debt will keep rising regardless of who is president in what I've simplified as 'over head' ...'responsiblites and obligation that were in place the day Obama took office ? Or is that over your head ?

Good job Jae, but Carol is a racist so full of hate and denial that nothing will penetrate her preconceived notions about our President. Accusations without facts obtained only from the right wing encourage her hateful rage against President Obama simply because he is black and his father was from Kenya. Since many here are "birthers", need I say more?

Hate, bigotry, and denial of facts fuel the right wing.

You have also forgotten to mention that just as with a business...one often has to spend more to try and improve ones business in order to stay in business...in this case ...we'll call it stimulous. Since the GOP isn't helping in any way as to our recovery....spending is about the only means to give the economy/people a boost. Without that we would already be in a depression , which is where the Republicans will take us should they ever win another Presidental election in my opinion. Bush and Cheney had us to the edge of one but Obama did manage to keep it as a recession and not a depression ...which was obviously to many, where the previous Bush administration were headed with it.......in many peoples opinion...mine for certain.

Of course the Bush bail outs that they began over lap'd into this one also...and as we now see , Bush and CHeney's idea of corporate welfare did cost us a few trillion more after they left office....

Now back on the topic, it might not mean anything to you , well DUH huh, knowing that your are not a liberal/progressive but a rightwinger...teabagger more than likely in my opinion..you would say that. But to others it does mean something ...that the "GOP's Benghazi Smoking Gun Goes Up in Smoke
http://www.care2.com/news/member/663679641/3475735 "...but as with other forms of reality the righwing, extremist especially , will not accept the truth about issues in general so why would any of us expect them to now..not when it's so close to the election and left with no real 'smoking gun' or anythign to say about Mitt Romney that is positive

When I say 'positive' I am not talking about made up/lies ...about anything positive about him....but more like real facts that are. Not just what he says he will do but what he has done and or how logical or the things he says he can do....which from where I sit I haven't heard of a single thing that wasn't a 'talking head' kind of maybe or that is factual/logical...well other than in the eyes of at least the teabagger klan his being white is a plus...and in my opinion that the main one they really care about.

I don't think for a nano second that Hillary Clinton is even concerned about where her bread is buttered....her small salary as Secretary of State dwarfs beside their millions and millions of income. I believe Hillary, in the end, will do the right thing. She knows Obama has lied to the American people. And she isn't the only one. She also remembers how Obama and the DNC threw her under the bus in 2008 because she was seriously threatening Obama's chances of becoming the presidential nominee. Poof...she was out! This had to be a tough one for lefty Pew Research, but they keep doing it anyway – quizzing Democrats and Republicans on political knowledge since 1987, and Republicans keep coming out on top in spite of Lefty Elitist professors. The Center for Individual Freedom (CFIF) points to Pew’s attempt to soften “previous blowouts [Republicans smarter] to a complete shutout in the latest edition [Republicans smarter on every question].

Republicans Smarter Than Democrats Every time – Pew Research
In a scientific survey of 1,168 adults conducted during September and October of last year, respondents were asked not only multiple-choice questions, but also queries using maps, photographs and symbols. Among other subjects, participants identified international leaders, cabinet members, Supreme Court justices, nations on a world map, the current unemployment and poverty rates and war casualty totals.

In a 2010 Pew survey, Republicans outperformed Democrats on 10 of 12 questions, with one tie and Democrats outperforming Republicans on just 1 of the 12. In the latest survey, however, Republicans outperformed Democrats on every single one of 19 questions.

Amusingly, the Pew report attempted to soften the stark partisan knowledge disparity:

“Republicans generally outperformed Democrats on the current quiz. On 13 of the 19 questions, Republicans score significantly higher than Democrats and there are no questions on which Democrats did better than Republicans. In past knowledge quizzes, partisan differences have been more muted, though Republicans often have scored somewhat higher than Democrats.”

“Generally outperformed?” “Somewhat higher?” That’s a curiously charitable way to describe the surveys, which went from previous blowouts to a complete shutout in the latest edition.

Those Pew results are confirmed by some surprising other sources.

According to a New York Times headline dated April 14, 2010, “Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated.”

Shattering widespread myths, that survey revealed that Tea Party supporters were more likely to possess a college degree than their counterparts (23% to 15%), and also more likely to have completed post-graduate studies (14% to 10%). Tea Partiers were also more likely to have completed “some college” by a 33% to 28% margin, and substantially less likely to have not completed high school than non-supporters (3% versus 12%), or to possess only a high school degree (26% versus 35%)…

On his current tour, Obama also inaccurately maligned former President Rutherford B. Hayes as disdainful of the telephone. As Mona Charen also noted this week, Obama also “told us that America invented the automobile and that John F. Kennedy had met with Nikita Kruschev when we were on the brink of nuclear war,” when in fact the automobile was invented in Germany and Kennedy actually met Kruschev one year prior to the Cuban Missile Crisis.

This is the same President who referred to “57 states,” misstated the Citizens United decision in an address to the nation, pronounced Navy “corpsman” as “corpse-man” and blatantly misrepresented that Japanese automobiles now average 45 miles per gallon to our 27.5 standard. Source: CFIF, posted March 2012
Particularly we credit those Progressive educators at all levels of education for the lack of learning in Democrats – purposefully dumbing them down, purposefully distorting history, purposefully promoting a lifestyle of poverty and victimhood – and cheering on those who would put a crucifix with Christ on the Cross in a jar of urine, and screaming when we want to defund the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
How many Republicans are yelling “ObamaPhone” “Keep Obama in President, you know“ ”Everybody in Cleveland minority got ObamaPhone.” Then there’s Joe Biden.

A previous Pew study referred to here quoting Yahoo Daily News measured &ldquoartisan differences on 48 areas that it has tracked since 1987….” The video below is a part of that story, with the transcript, and shows that Democrats can’t come out on top on politics, even when the survey is weighted toward Democrats, 339 Democrats and 239 Republicans.

A new survey shows that Republicans and supporters know a lot more about politics and political history than Democrats. On 8 of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by a whopping average of 18 percentage points according to a new Pew Survey on partisan differences in knowledge.

Pew Survey confirms to a wave of surveys and studies, the GOP are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans. The lesser intelligent, close-minded people who support the Democratic party, Republicans fare substantially better than Democrats on several questions on the survey as is typically the case on surveys about political knowledge, said the study. The widest partisan gap in the survey came in at an unbelievable 30 points when only a paltry 46% of Democrats compared to 76% of Republicans correctly described the GOP as the party generally more supportive of reducing the size of government. The survey quizzed 1,000 people, including 239 Republicans and 334 Democrats.

Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated April 14, 2010
Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.

They hold more conservative views on a range of issues than Republicans generally. They are also more likely to describe themselves as “very conservative” and President Obama as “very liberal.”

And while most Republicans say they are “dissatisfied” with Washington, Tea Party supporters are more likely to classify themselves as “angry.”

The Tea Party movement burst onto the scene a year ago in protest of the economic stimulus package, and its supporters have vowed to purge the Republican Party of officials they consider not sufficiently conservative and to block the Democratic agenda on the economy, the environment and health care. But the demographics and attitudes of those in the movement have been known largely anecdotally. The Times/CBS poll offers a detailed look at the profile and attitudes of those supporters.

Their responses are like the general public’s in many ways. Most describe the amount they paid in taxes this year as “fair.” Most send their children to public schools. A plurality do not think Sarah Palin is qualified to be president, and, despite their push for smaller government, they think that Social Security and Medicare are worth the cost to taxpayers. They actually are just as likely as Americans as a whole to have returned their census forms, though some conservative leaders have urged a boycott.

Tea Party supporters’ fierce animosity toward Washington, and the president in particular, is rooted in deep pessimism about the direction of the country and the conviction that the policies of the Obama administration are disproportionately directed at helping the poor rather than the middle class or the rich.

The overwhelming majority of supporters say Mr. Obama does not share the values most Americans live by and that he does not understand the problems of people like themselves. More than half say the policies of the administration favor the poor, and 25 percent think that the administration favors blacks over whites — compared with 11 percent of the general public.

They are more likely than the general public, and Republicans, to say that too much has been made of the problems facing black people.

Asked what they are angry about, Tea Party supporters offered three main concerns: the recent health care overhaul, government spending and a feeling that their opinions are not represented in Washington.

“The only way they will stop the spending is to have a revolt on their hands,” Elwin Thrasher, a 66-year-old semiretired lawyer in Florida, said in an interview after the poll. “I’m sick and tired of them wasting money and doing what our founders never intended to be done with the federal government.”

They are far more pessimistic than Americans in general about the economy. More than 90 percent of Tea Party supporters think the country is headed in the wrong direction, compared with about 60 percent of the general public. About 6 in 10 say “America’s best years are behind us” when it comes to the availability of good jobs for American workers.

Nearly 9 in 10 disapprove of the job Mr. Obama is doing over all, and about the same percentage fault his handling of major issues: health care, the economy and the federal budget deficit. Ninety-two percent believe Mr. Obama is moving the country toward socialism, an opinion shared by more than half of the general public.
“I just feel he’s getting away from what America is,” said Kathy Mayhugh, 67, a retired medical transcriber in Jacksonville. “He’s a socialist. And to tell you the truth, I think he’s a Muslim and trying to head us in that direction, I don’t care what he says. He’s been in office over a year and can’t find a church to go to. That doesn’t say much for him.”

The nationwide telephone poll was conducted April 5 through April 12 with 1,580 adults. For the purposes of analysis, Tea Party supporters were oversampled, for a total of 881, and then weighted to their proper proportion in the poll. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points for all adults and for Tea Party supporters.

Of the 18 percent of Americans who identified themselves as supporters, 20 percent, or 4 percent of the general public, said they had given money or attended a Tea Party event, or both. These activists were more likely than supporters generally to describe themselves as very conservative and had more negative views about the economy and Mr. Obama. They were more angry with Washington and intense in their desires for a smaller federal government and deficit.

Tea Party supporters over all are more likely than the general public to say their personal financial situation is fairly good or very good. But 55 percent are concerned that someone in their household will be out of a job in the next year. And more than two-thirds say the recession has been difficult or caused hardship and major life changes. Like most Americans, they think the most pressing problems facing the country today are the economy and jobs.

But while most Americans blame the Bush administration or Wall Street for the current state of the American economy, the greatest number of Tea Party supporters blame Congress.

They do not want a third party and say they usually or almost always vote Republican. The percentage holding a favorable opinion of former President George W. Bush, at 57 percent, almost exactly matches the percentage in the general public that holds an unfavorable view of him.

Dee Close, a 47-year-old homemaker in Memphis, said she was worried about a “drift” in the country. “Over the last three or four years, I’ve realized how immense that drift has been away from what made this country great,” Ms. Close said.

Yet while the Tea Party supporters are more conservative than Republicans on some social issues, they do not want to focus on those issues: about 8 in 10 say that they are more concerned with economic issues, as is the general public.

When talking about the Tea Party movement, the largest number of respondents said that the movement’s goal should be reducing the size of government, more than cutting the budget deficit or lowering taxes.

And nearly three-quarters of those who favor smaller government said they would prefer it even if it meant spending on domestic programs would be cut.

But in follow-up interviews, Tea Party supporters said they did not want to cut Medicare or Social Security — the biggest domestic programs, suggesting instead a focus on “waste.”

Some defended being on Social Security while fighting big government by saying that since they had paid into the system, they deserved the benefits.

Others could not explain the contradiction.

“That’s a conundrum, isn’t it?” asked Jodine White, 62, of Rocklin, Calif. “I don’t know what to say. Maybe I don’t want smaller government. I guess I want smaller government and my Social Security.” She added, “I didn’t look at it from the perspective of losing things I need. I think I’ve changed my mind.”

Oh Carol (Sorry Paul Anka) Obama's spending increase has been the smallest since Eisenhower and a large part of the debt comes from putting the war on budget which Bush avoided like the plague. It also will be including 3 trillion for treating the military casualties. Well over 60% of the deficit under Obama tracks exactly to the mess Bush left and the fact that Republican obstruction (395 filibusters) which have prevented a fuller recovery. Their intention is, quite simply, to make stupid people think it's Obama's fault, when the exact opposite is the fact.

Calling Obama a liar (which he does on occasion, when Romney lies almost exclusively) is like the pot calling the apple black. Check politifacts.

President Obama is where the buck stops. Obama knew everything move that was going on in Benghazi and he is refusing to tell the American people what happened and when until, now get this, AFTER the election. Why would that be? If anyone denied this embassy more security, Obama knew about it, it was Obama who denied the security request.

The liberals are very selective in how they bring attention to Obama's failures. In fact, they could watch him on video robbing a bank and would come out the next day and say it was an Obama impersonator. That's how bad the liberals are in charging Obama with the worst leadership in the history of our country.

Diane...Robert can't deal with real truth..it has to be what he calls truth or none at all....closed minded and all of that stuff ya know. He just likes to argue for the sake of arguing..no truth in just nonsense! One could bang their head against a wall and get more results! :-)

Your nonsense Carol, is a perfect setup for a new slogan I'm fond of...

Vote for Dems. We're not perfect...but they're Nuts.

Nothing from GlenBeckistan is ever anywhere close to the truth. Robert S, you obviously have more intelligence in your lizard brain that the sum total of all conservatives on this site. Not that's saying much.

So, the republican general homage to Hitler for wacko votes is not working out so well, is it? If it was, some of you wouldn't have to jump into a thread about Hillary Clinton and rant and rave that the Jews actually killed themselves. I guess the Germans just stood around with their hands in their own pockets, humming a tune while that went on.

I truly hope you all do secede. This kind of thinking is particularly ugly, even for republicans.

ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!!!

Yeah....hows that working out for you Carol? Got yer head out of the sand yet? I love looking back at these posts to see the likes of Carol and Diane O., talking crap. Very funny stuff now in retrospect.

Romney had lunch at the Obama white house today. Then lunch was over and he asked Obama if he could sit in the big chair just once. Obama said no and told Miittens to wipe his chin and go home.

I remind you Carol D., and Diane O.... The sources we listened to told the truth. Your sources made fools of you. We wonder if you guys realize now....just who it was who had their heads in the sand. Maybe not. You've always been pretty thick after all.

Robert, you are posting as if you think we give a damn what you think. LOL! We know Obama won the re-election but he sure didn't win by a landslide...a mere few points and the Republicans kept the House and added nine seats.

So, what did YOU win?

You won four more years of gridlock and no growth in the economy (and no new jobs) for another four years. Yep, old pal, you won something of high importance, didn't you?

The point, is not whether or not you give a damn what I think, but that we have been shown, and events have proven, what you say is complete and utter bunk, got from sources that prey on idiots and sociopaths like yourself to spread as fact.

Call it what you like....Obama won by more than "the shrub" ever did. In fact Repukes have not won the popular vote in the last five elections. The popularity of the "completely bought" party is on the wain, though they are still more popular than you are credible.

What I won simply put, is that I won't have to live under your far right wing ideology. The implications and reality's of that, are profound and they are legion. We have pushed you back toward the wilderness, where you will dwell I think for a long time to come.

And the point of him winning Diane is he won by fraud...major fraud...so IMO when one has to win like that he actually didn't win!! Robert is one of the typical liberal bashers that love to read their won writing or hear themselves...I guess maybe it makes them feel impotent or something....ROTFL!! And to have to use fraud in order to win!?!? That pretty well says everything about the crooked worthless no good piece in the White House!

Donald...If you have to be told what fraud Obama has committed then you truly are a lost soul!! I am tired of explaining to lost souls something that is so clearly visible and has been clearly visible ever since this man has come on the scene and you still ask for "examples" of his screw ups!?!?!? There is NO hope for you!!
