If you've heard the news about the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch the last few days (or even if you haven't), this clip will make you smile. #FitchTheHomeless . They only want "cool", "attractive" people as customers - no large sizes! This will do them in...

Nice idea to give A & F clothing to the homeless - but, it wasn't great the way in the video that he gave out clothing randomly, not needed or wanted, probably not fitting to those he gave it to.
Better his suggestion to give A & F clothing to a SHELTER - that way, those who actually NEED the items, can CHOOSE them.
No need to humiliate or embarrass the homeless. They need their dignity as well as clothes, and it should always be respected. They shouldn't be made to walk around as "counter-advertisements". Just wear A & F clothes in an ordinary way, the way they wear other clothing donated.

A & F is, I hear, having a hard time anyway; and this stupid remark of their CEO, I should think, will REALLY do them in.... what kid will think it's "cool" now?
{A & F is so "careful" of their brand, when clothing is unsold or damaged, they BURN it rather than donating it - so this is APPROPRIATE action. As long as the Dignity of the Poor is respected.}

By the way, I HATE their sexy, sexy ads.... exploitative of BOTH male and female models.... doesn't seem right, all that sexy display on a SHOPPING BAG.....

Ohhhhhhh . . . THANK YOU so much for this, Barbara! (It was my last browsing of "Newly Submitted News" before shutting down the computer for the evening.)

So friggin' clever as a response!

Now off to sleep . . . if I can quit chuckling.
